A good range for him to stay in, at his old age. A little vocal push, but not to much. You noticed on " VOYEUR" , he had a hard time with word enunciation, clarity, when he pushed his vocal. It's a sad thing for an artist to accept.

Great music makes ordinary words seem great. You need to judge lyrics purely as words - not having the music in your head. A lyricist is only like the farmer who grows the vegetables used by the 3 Michelin star chef.

I was 14 years old when this song came out. The year was 1978. It brings back memories of slow dancing at a junior high school dance. I still have the 45 rpm vinyl record in my collection. What a beautiful blast from the past!

I remember this very well. It played in the summer before my senior year of hs, once at night during the week, and again on that Saturday, a lazy, quiet diffuse cloudy afternoon just like the one in the video. I was in love, those were such romantic days.

They all did beautifully. I esp love how Pavarotti had so much appreciation for rock musicians. There is footage of him with Freddie Mercury, Eric Clapton, James Brown, and Jeff Beck. It's lovely to see that the musicians themselves have no need for genre. It's totally contrived.
