Everyones right and wrong about Jenkins and they don't give him enough credit. This is a new offense and the first time he really got challenged with it. Did y'all not watch Draymond Post game comments about the grizzles offense? "The grizzles new offense is unconventional and weird" "out coaching staff prepared us but there in game adjustments is what got us this win" TJ new offense is not the problem. When the better teams adjust to this new scheme how do we counter is the problem. And maybe because it's new we give tj time for trial and error on developing counters to a teams in game adjustments

If two teams do the same wrong thing, one of them is STILL going to win. That being said, as a long time Edey fan, I've struggled to understand his limited minutes. His scoring + rebounds per minute is up there with league leaders. His defense, although some weaknesses, isn't bad enough to justify his bench time. And he was literally playing 40 minutes in some games last year, no WAY it's a conditioning issue. But yeah, looking through the whole teams average minutes, it does seem like we are playing too many. Maybe the coach just likes all the players so much, he can't make the call to pare back the lineup. When we are fully healthy, we are going to HAVE to not play some deserving players. We need to develop better flow.

Dirty Draymond...Y'all got some nerve talking about dirty with the hatchet ball Memphis plays! Do y'all practice elbows and grabbing and hacking! I started watching basketball and a hockey game broke out! Draymond or anyone else has to put his foot down or grab a foot and say enough is enough....Kerr took Curry out so they wouldn't break his legs! Dirty Draymond...GTFOH...Ja would have shot 30 free throws launching himself into everybody! Hey the Bad Boy Pistons called...They said y'all are doing too much....

Show us the compilation videos of anyone on the Grizzlies kicking players in the nuts and then we can have a conversation. Show us the practice footage of anyone on the Grizzlies assaulting a teammate and then we can have a conversation Draymond has been in the Top 5 in the NBA in techs since 2015 All that to say… I would’ve loved Draymond on the Grizzlies 😂

With our injuries, we need all the guys that have been in this locker room. To trade Luke to a team that needs shooting when we constantly say we need shooting is an oxymoron 😂 If you trade Marcus you still have the problem of too many good players but you lose his leadership 😂 Unless the organization feels like someone isn't truly bought in, we shouldn't trade anyone! Now, if we are bad at the break and need a push, then pull the trigger on trades. We are 12 games in, so let this team cook for a bit! I think this roster, as is, is special!

Wells has to get through a whole season of consistency before I can rank him. I think as we start getting everyone back, he obviously won't play the same minutes, so he will have to excel in that role for me. I think we might see a slight regression.

it has been complicated to discuss Grizz lineup construction bc of the un-availability the past 2yrs. last yr when we were down to like 8 plrs it felt they were doing more of an evaluation period, but then we end up here with roles not definitive, and contracts overlapping. so it seems there is a lot of nuance to the topics. see i thought a roster was suppose to be around 14 (12-15) active during reg szn? with 2ways and Gleague avail as 2-4 reserves ready for calling up if injuries, etc?? that leaves me at 14/2/2 spots - i guess i would need to start there on construction conversation. .

Reddick made adjustments, and TJ didn't. Simple as that! It's like he's scared of making a bad decision, so he just relies on his strict rotations. You play to win the game! Not to satisfy some fixation on analytics! You can't play scared, nor can you coach scared!

There's a lot of bad taste from last season in fans mouths, couple that with the high expectations of this season. We have the deepest roster we have ever had this season, and I cant help but wonder how much upper management had a say early on about the mins restrictions of Ja, JJJ, and Bane. I cant argue against some of the questionable lineups and adjustments (even this early on) but I will say the thing I do like about Jenkins is his accountability, even his comments before the season started were very self reflective of his own short comings. Can a coach grow? Absolutely. Does he have the players trust? I believe so. Management dubbed this season as 'Win Now', but if we don't see some changes by the Playoffs (heaven forbid an early Playoff exit) the writing may just be on the wall. Winning fixes everything though, so let's see how the record looks come All Star Weekend.

Kills me that they couldn't just turn Mike Rose into a 5,000-7,500 seat USL-Level Soccer Stadium. Didn't need a state of the art fairgrounds proposal. Between the stadium and the lack of attendance post-covid, the team wasn't on a great trajectory.

I am one of Edey's biggest supporters and think that he can be a superstar one day. But the offense the coaches designed highlights all of Edey's weaknesses rather than showcasing his strengths. This is why he hasn't been as big of a team positive as his individual numbers should suggest. BC mobility, Huff's shooting and their combined ballhandling and passing have made this offense flow better than Edey's paint presence. I still think as an older 9th overall pick Edey should get the opportunity to figure it out even if he is a little worse than the other players at the start of the year. Players with his pedigree pick up skills quickly. Also why the Grizz would draft a special player and then design an offense that is the worst fit possible is wild. It's like trying to run a spread offense and then drafting Derrick Henry to play WR.
