According to a team sillent dev of sh2 the game takes place in the early 80s late 70s Which btw places it before SH1 which means heather was kind of not born yet. Heather is 17 and sh3 is either 2003 or 2000 and that means sh1 is between 1983-1986. Sh home coming ret cons this to 1993 and at that point its up to you what you want to beleive. But either way this room is actually just a tease because if you revisit tbe room the wall paper reveals the SH3 order sign

@@Minous_Mom the broken glass and white substance around it is “white chrism” one of the items in the original game from the Born From a Wish scenario, and also one of the items needed to achieve the rebirth ending in the original game.

Sh2 heather was still living with harry,only way Heather been thier is if the water ending is canon,James loses memories and restarts in the bathroom after his body floats to shore because James is in an endless loophole cycle in silent Hill that exceeds over 20 years for all eternity or until he satisfied truly forgives himself

It is not necessary to go through the 3 scenarios with leon of course it depends on each person, you can play with the 4 characters and the 3 scenarios with rank A and the weapon is also unlocked

Best advice I can give is save at the beginning of chap 14 and reload often if this doesn’t work. I’ve been trying it for an hour before it finally worked

In case this helps anyone- on PS5, after trying so many times, I changed to favor resolution and then moved the right analog stick left slightly early. I was doing it too late on all previous tries. Got it the 4th try, only after favoring resolution. I don’t know it’ll it matters, but I was shocked and relieved.

I did this trick at this gate yesterday but I realized I didn't get luis' keys and when I was in clocktower, Salazar wasn't here to welcome me with his priests, and there was a black screen when I opened Salazar's gate, so don't do this trick. However it could have been the most interesting skipping in game.(no Verdugo, no mine wagon, no Novistador sequence, no Krauser).

Just defeats the whole purpose of actually grinding for something. Literally all the people that got the handcannon just got dicked over as professional is no joke and getting an S rank on each stage or whatever the requirement is for mercenaries just makes it too easy

For everyone trying to get the HandCannon, You only need to get S Rank in all Stages with a single character. Example: I got S rank in all stages with Krauser because i liked his playstyle way more and i got the hc

I got it while trying to unlock all characters on the first go. S with Leon on the Village, S with Luis on the Castle, S with Krauser on the Island. Pretty easy

funny thing about my situation was that i had 2 more trophies to get, S+ rank on hardcore and obtain handcannon for the gun finatic trophy. i went into mercenaries blind because i wanted to take a break from the long grind I've done for the main story and man, i was both happy and devastated i unlocked the handcannon unknowingly. i was prepared and keen to do the professional runs twice for the cat ears then handcannon lmfao
