Pinning works great too! I’ve found fabric weights are a bit quicker to apply and work just as good, but pins are a great choice, too!

‼️ Story Time! ‼️I (Stephen) went to see my girlfriend in Chicago a couple weeks ago! We wanted to go on a fancy date where we dress up (and I would not wear a Hawaiian Shirt). My girlfriend loves Chicken Nuggets and I found a blogpost about restaurants in Chicago that have fancy, adult chicken nuggets. I make a reservation at the first restaurant I found and didn’t do any further research. Fast forward to the time we go on our date and… it is a Tiki Bar! Not only that, but a highly regarded one named Three Dots and a Dash! Here I am, Mr Always Wears a Hawaiian Shirt and it’s the one day I’m wearing a suit! I told the staff, they laughed and then I got the idea to film a fun video about it! All the parts of me in the car, getting ready for the date were all filmed later that night! This was an absolutely hilarious experience and the irony is not lost on me at all!! And the chicken nuggets were indeed, amazing!

Cleaning out the fibers will keep the gears from clogging up and will help it run smoother! No one wants a machine that will overheat!

I cleaned my mom’s sewing machine when I was just a little girl. She was so thankful because it wasn’t working before l cleaned it. 👧🏽

Sewing machines have a dozens to hundreds of gears and levers and mechanical components! If the fiber buildup throws even one of them off, the whole machine can stop!

It can seem like it! Sewing machines have oodles of gears and levers and mechanical work. It can take a bit of time to thread on your first go around, but you’ll eventually get it down to about 10 seconds!

There is someone on youtube pretending to know how to thread a machine and sharing this brilliant inside knowledge. Trouble is, she drops the bobbin in backwards. I noticed lots of likes, and left her a comment suggesting she either delete it or correct it, but I didn't check back and don't remember who it was. Anyway, people, it's important to hit like on this one.
