Yano something about the sound i came into getting mine really negative because of the rumors about the exhaust but it isn't as bad as people said its got a nice throaty bumble revs nice for a valved exhaust but I agree for quad exhaust could be more raspy

My city doesn't even have real highways and the fastest road I drive on has a 90km/hr limit. I suspect this car would be plenty fast for me. They look nice with a few mods.

When a car is cheap and has performance it gets extra points in my book.

Watched a lot of reviews from a lot of professional motoring journalists on this car before purchasing & this is one of the best reviews for driver feel & driving feedback. Thanks for doing a good job at rating the driving experience over the stupid & irrelevant things other journalists prattle on about that indicate they missed the point of this car entirely.

The fuel economy isn’t that great, my 208 gtline has a stage one tune, 160 bhp 300 nm and I regularly get 53 mpg, the best I have achieved was 66.8 mpg on the m25 not so long ago.👍

And again - 99% that tested this car -fell in love with it and bought it ! Happened to me 😍

If you thinking about getting one, just get it. I flew to another city to get mine and embarked on a 14 hour trip back home. Half was through heavy rain. The car performed brilliantly. I have it in yellow too and people stare at it constantly with the occasional compliment.

Had the previous version which was good fun. Test drove this one and it’s a step up but can’t hold a candle to the new ST

the last model restyle was the prettiest hot supermini ever, this is not even close

I ordered one (white paint) with 18 inch alloys and the same seats and full options. The only thing I will miss about my MK7 GTE is the rear looks and the center console. Better cup holders and arm rest. But yeah everything else is better or just as good.

Back in production but yet a £2,000 price rise... Being unable to turn off the ESP is fine, however the "sound actuator" that plays fake engine sounds in the dashboard is unforgivable.

Thanks for a unbiased review, i don't know why but so many reviews lay on the hate for vw ok dieselgate whatever what the car companies aren't sayin is everyone was doing it.vw took there licks deservedly so. Anyhow the vw polo GTI+ looks very special definitely getting one for me it looks better than the golf gti. And i will add polo GTI+ more than matches a fiesta st

The 8 second thing is very soft from Suzuki. Everyone who pulls get around 7-7,2. I managed 6,7 on stock car

Why’d they call you big head?

100.000 miles with a na UP. No issues at all. The GTI can easily be tuned to 140HP, put on performance tyres... problem is I'm so happy with my UP I have mental difficulties to part from it😟
