Slow it down, way too fast, beats per minute is around 128, should be around 120, plus the bass will hit much harder. Sounds awful....
@jwcuts1029 Жыл бұрын
If you read all the posts you'd know this is how the booty 12" was cut. ;)
@ash27slick74 Жыл бұрын
@@jwcuts1029 I suppose you could be correct but I have a different black label bootleg 12" cut that I got from Movin' Records in East Orange way back in 1990. The Black Label is much slower at around 120 beats per minute. It's the same version that Tony Humphries used to play on the radio and at Club Zanzibar.

This is one I'd not heard. I used to find my youngster daydreams imagining that Jack was our nearby neighbour and used to show all these wisdoms to me. Part of me still wishes it all those decades later that I've grown maybe even older than him in his layer videos. He was my countryman hero even though my home area in East central Scotland was as chalk to cheese compared to his Dorset haunts.

I interviewed Zebra Zone for a fanzine way back in the early 80s, I really championed them as they were just about the only band in Portsmouth that were doing something different (apart from maybe Spit Like Paint, whom I also interviewed). I seem to recall that my piece never got published, I think they pulled it for some reason.
Rob Bartlett (a notorious Baffins Boy, who was possibly more famous thereabouts for being a dead ringer for David Essex!) Good effort lads and a datestamp for my youth. Think this single had The Media ont' other side, but can't remember the track. Frames used to practice in the basement o' the Irish club at this time. Ancient and fresh.

Oh shit, now it all makes sense! I wondered why Housemaster Boyz - House Nation would come to my mind, when listening to the Liz Torres Tracks with Master C & J. Well....it turns out they're brothers! Jessie and Kevin Jones. I imagine they shared equipment amd not only that, the percussion and basslines have similar vibes. I can almost hear Ha ha ha ha house nation...house nation...
