As far as paint, I always suggest an eggshell finish for your walls. It's a happy medium between matte and semi glossy. Sherwin Williams Emerald is nice because it's durable and easier to clean. Benjamin Aura is another paint I can suggest. If you insist on Matte then I'd get Emerald Designer from Sherwin Williams. It's more expensive but it's a matte that you can actually clean. Have them give you sample sheets so you can see the difference in sheen. Hope that helps!

peel stop primer is much easier to work with compared to oil-based paint.

Thank you! The video clear coat is actually really good. It's like Polycrylic and is pretty durable for being a water-based product. I replaced it before it actually wore out, but i had it for a few years after refinishing it.

For less than $250, it's really not bad.

We have gas, so luckily, heat and cooking are not a problem 😂
