you can atleast admit it that the game is not for you but you cant say that isnt for anyone because is not true.. for example i think its pretty fun to to play this game and all the things what this game offer are useful .you said you played 140 hours and as i can see you did the same thing for 140 hours like how people played 5 years ago(the game back then) . i played for like 40 hours max so far and i learned a lot of things..not just gather resources leave the planet,visit other planet and repeat you know... i mean yes thats the main thing. to explore new systems and planets but thats just a small thing..are better things that fill that small problem you have the game is still getting updates making it even better with every update and think that all the "small changes" you get are for free not like other games and they still coming but the only thing i think the game need is like more survability for normal mode .i feel like is too easy but again if you really want hardcore play there are 2 options 1.play survival or perma-death mode 2. install mods that make the game really hard to play(now that they added the mod community support) you have the option to make the game how you want if you feel like is too easy or boring or if it look bad in terms of graphics. i dnt know if you seen it yet but more people playing the game every day despite all the things you say so some arent valid facts... the game is true fun but again is not for everyone but dont worry i know how you feel... i feel the same with some games(not NMS) but there is like full bags of shit and p2w bullshit

The part about recharging stuff is paintful to look at, why are you doing this to yourself 140 hours in ? It only takes a couple of clicks to recharge anything from the quick menu, it even automatically sets itself on the thing you need to recharge
@gamesaperitif94963 жыл бұрын
Oh hey, thanks for comment! I think I wasn't clear enough - I do actually understand that bit. You're right, charging is easy - I was talking more about checking your inventory to make sure you had spare carbon for the next charge. It's all totally doable of course, but I think in better designed games they would have set it up so with no charging, and the items just automatically drew carbon from your inventory as you used it. Or make it easy to check you had plenty of everything, without reading through your inventory item to item.
@matadornms16333 жыл бұрын
@@gamesaperitif9496 Even checking for spare carbon isn't as involved for most players. Most players just have a stack of it sitting in their inventory with no need to check how much you have unless you're planning a big build using lots of carbon. You really make it sound more complicated than it really is.
@RagBell3 жыл бұрын
@@gamesaperitif9496 I have to agree with @Matador_NMS here, in nms you naturally loot everything you need to recharge your gear all the time, and the recharge cost is low enough for you to not need to check how much you have left after the first few hours of gameplay. And even then, the recharge option in the quick menu shows you all the substances usable to recharge the module AND the amount you currently have on you for all of these substances, so it IS easy to check that you have plenty of everything. You never even have to open the inventory to recharge anything, the only moment you want to check the amount of a substance you have is when you want to build things. You make some good points in your videos, but on this one you really make it look way more complicated and frustrating than it really is, and i can imagine how frustrating the game would feel playing like that

What they haven't fixed for me is every time I exit the Game in Windows 7 the NMS.exe keeps running in the backgroud, I have to use the Task Manager to kill the process, for two years this Bug is still there, for two years I can't see other peoples Bases anymore and they can't see mine, I can't see Featured Bases at the Nexus, it's greyed out, not available, I can't put a Com Module at my Base, it says in red that I'm not connected, to the rest of the Server I am, but not anything involving other players, they have me cut off at the Server for that. Every update since Day one breaks Mods, they go out of their way to break Mods with every update they have ever done, wrong minded thoughts for a Dev. Too many Bugs and a bad attitude towards Mods, not good...
@RagBell3 жыл бұрын
Did you actually have any involvement in modding for NMS ? The devs definitely don't go out of their way to prevent modding, they just change what they need to change and it happens to break mods. If anything, they go out of their way to make modding EASIER ! Here are two exemples : - The modders responsible for the MBINCompiler (the base for all who want to mod NMS) noticed that in an update, hello games removed global value names in the .exe of the game, making it harder to mod the new values they would add in future updates. So they asked hello games that they put them back, and they did. - Some mods that added new base building items made console players crash when they visited a modded base when crossplay was added. Hello Games went out of their way to flag vanilla building items so that modded parts would not appear for console players and not make them crash, and let PC player keep their mods Hell, the simple fact that there is a mod folder, that they detect mods and put warnings for it is proof that they go out of their way to make modding easier
@mail2ted3 жыл бұрын
@@RagBell I'm more concerned about not being able to see other Bases and them mine, not being able to see or access Featured Bases, put up Com Modules and being cut out parts of the Game that others have no issues with, bugs that last for years that were not there originally. I can deal with the Mod scene well enough.

Your mic quality is superior when you are seated in the livingroom to when you are talking over gaming footage. That's the opposite to what it should be... It might be because your living room is sufficently padded as not to generate echo... but whereever you record your commentary has a lot of hard surfaces and no soundproofing.

Spiderweb Sofware has always been making (great) isometric RPGs, even when they weren't fashionable. But they never seem to get mentioned in such videos, it's only ever the big names. Geneforge is about to be remade, and there's the Avadon series and now Queen's Wish.
@peterheke3 жыл бұрын
I love the old Spiderweb games, but the new ones ... not so much. The Exile trilogy remake was hugely disappointing, sacrificing that amazing open world for scaling difficulty and skill trees. Queen's Wish is the worst of a bad bunch imo, and it'll be the last Spiderweb game I play unless things take a drastically different direction.
