I see Bonehead stumpbugs in the boat. During the summer time I pull the outside legs off, just keep the body and the middle tail. That really helps to catch them when they are doing a short bite!

I just ran across this video. The hotel you stayed at is literally right by my house. That is the same place I put in and that is a good area to fish for sure during July. Good video.

You are right sometimes I slip on my gear check. Normally I give a quick run down. In this video I was using the hh warpig and an hh reel from www.hhrodsandreels.com They are also one of my tournament sponosors. The hand ties i was using were from get jiggy with it custom jigs. Question sir. Do those blue lense sunglasses work well in that color water? Or would you recommend a copper or bronze lense? I'm not sure if I have the correct name of lense colors.

I prefer the blue but i am not sure if any color can make a huge difference when its that muddy

Nice video, my favorite time to crappie fish. When they get dark they are spawning. They spawn in waves, when you find males that haven’t turned dark , they have just moved in to spawn. Fun times.
