A lot of these horses would do better if they started on the other side of the poles. Also these girls should start practicing at a walk and a trot using leg pressures to work with there horse before they run full out. Those are just my thoughts anyway what states is this rodeo.

Not the best video for representing this sport, but if you have drafted, and done it enough, you would certainly know that the sport can go from penthouse to shithouse in a matter of runs, Some runs are fantastic, some runs are utter shameful and as a drafter you know you have your fair share, The cattle on this video are shit, complete high-tailers, also, what some of you may know, the classes of campdraft are based on the horses achievements, not the riders, any beginner or green rider can hand an entry form in for a draft, no questions asked, drafting is a pretty accepting sport, theres always room for newbies, I find this video extremely judgemental, the least you could do @Ree Lewis was put a music track over this so no one could here the poor riders names, if I ever had one of my bad runs, filmed and placed on youtube with your opening caption I would be truly pissed. I have had plenty of 'bolters' for beasts and if they are going to run into that fence, let them, im sure as hell not getting my horse and myself jammed into a fence for the sake of making it look like it wasn't the cows fault, a lot of them do run to the fence majority of the time, I don't feel from this video that its the riders doing it on purpose :) great filming though.

Im sorry but she is overweight and it wasn't comfortable at all for the horse. She shouldn't be jumping at all because she can hurt her horse badly! This is gonna get a lot of dislikes and i dont care because its my opinion but i think they need a weight limit for a certain height of the rider. This is terrible and she shouldn't be jumping! Poor horse!!! :'(

The 1st and last horses were awesome! But the rest needed to be checked before they turn around the end poles. They were pretty wide because of that. But all of the participating riders did wonderful and stuck with it! Good job, girls!

Thank you. WHen i did all the stuff i got so many video;s that are worse then this as they run them into fences pretty bad hey. They are trying to stop people fro using camera;s so no one can catch what they do.

To all those uninitiated with Campdrafting, this is absolutely NOT the norm and is a terrible and inaccurate representation of this sport. Campdrafting associations and campdrafters are working very hard to maintain and wherever possible improve the safety for not just riders and horses but especially the cattle. The organisers of this event have let a lot of very good people and especially the cattle in their care down. I suggest people seek better information about this sport elsewhere.

I know horses can hold a lot of weight. I just know that a lot of people in Australia will not let people ride over 90kgs. It is wrong how people can judge others like that hey. :-) Love your comment. :-)

Ok first of all, this is insulting to me. You have to realize that some people are overweight because of genetic problems. I am overweight and I have been horseback riding for five years during which none of the horses that I have rode had a problem with my weight. Next time you diside to comment on something to do with weight please reconcider. Otherwise you are right about the other stuff.

@CMCKWT908 Love to be able to answer that but not sure sorry but when i go to a show i just tape what i see for others. I dont think any are at the country shows but i am not sure on that. :-)

@bcanbel I agree on what you say but i believe that anyone can ride a horse no matter what the size. Horses are used to carrying alot of weight. I have been around horses all my life and i do not believe that you have to be a certain size. Jumping yes you should be a certain size but i think as long as the rider can ride and also the horse is not struglling there is no problem. :-)

The horse ist great and very talented, which I cannot say for the rider. First of all, her arms!! They shouldn't be that wide open while show jumping. The hands must be kept stabile after the horse's neck and the direction commands are required to be given mostly by inner tighs and legs. Another point is that horse riding is not the right sport for overweight people!!

Hi. Yes i know alot of things. There has been alot of reports made about the zoo and they are in the middle of going bankrupt so the paper said. Thanks for your comment as i always like to know new things about things. :-)
