Did both in a different state. No way in hell I’d do it again. You have two entities that want to control and own your life 24/7. Then when one owns your time for a specific period the other is mad. IE you either choose the State Police or OCS you can’t do both. Fun fact: you can do both.

I travel all over the US and have a clean record and manage to run across maniacal egomaniac tough guys with badges everywhere I go. If you’re a good cop then it’s your duty to expose those types and if you work for a bigger department then I KNOW you have some in your ranks.

Great video!! 👍🏻 I graduated in September 1997 from Municipal Class 263. Unfortunately I suffered a back injury from a fall and retired on a disability after only just 15 1/2 years. My 16 weeks at the Academy was one of the best experiences of my life!!! I had dedicated amazing Instructors! Good luck to those who are accepted into the new class! 💙🖤

The Canaan C.T. Troop are largely a decent bunch. I remember when I lost my mind when I wrongfully had my son's presence removed from my life. I am now 9 years sober and I could not drink or drug the pain away...so I just died inside. Depends on the size of the track. Assuming it’s a regular track 6 if it’s one of those tracks that less than a quarter mile it could significantly change the amount of laps. If that’s the case thru should use a regular track. Or a course.

I am and really have been all my life interested in becoming a Trooper. Ive been living life as a good trustworthy person everyday. Helping all living things where i can, as humans should. Im excited to start this journey finally even though i have kids now. But the deal breaker is if the Troopers have to take that covid shot or not. Hopefully a Trooper can comment on that.
