I raced all the spedeworth tracks from early 1991 to late 1997 ( including the original Aldershot egg), and got popped in the fence on a good few occasions. Never more than the standard Saturday/Sunday night aches and pains I wonder if anyone can list the unfortunate people that have lost their lives with post and wire fencing? Can't remember any myself, mind you I have got dycalculia from the ( many ) concussions .

Not in a banger but in a superstox there was howard cole 211 hit post and wire at ipswich.Dont no of any others tbh.Wimbledon was my local track.And i also raced at the old aldershot.I raced there at there closing meeting in a stock car and won a trophy in the last ever saloon stock car final.Both great tracks.

When did the addition of (drivers) door and floor plates become compulsory? If a car is going to fold up the plates make sure the driver is safer, which is a Good Thing. Note that one of the opposition stopped right alongside #315, concerned for their opponent.

Yes because if Mondeos bent like that. Then people would get hurt and trapped in cars more often. But at least it'd be more entertaining for you knowledgable armchair spectators who have no inclination to do anything with your lives apart from act like little bitches.
