@MiraGeoscience2 жыл бұрын
Hi Urom, thank you for your interest in this video. It is not yet possible to do this with the geoapp. However, we encourage you to join a talk by the BC Geophysical Society (BCGS) where this subject will be discussed. Feel free to email BCGS directly or message us at [email protected] for more details.

How do you get the uncertainity in the airborne magnetic data?
@MiraGeoscience2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Errors arise from many sources including position errors, elevation errors, instrument noise, etc. Therefore you should assign a reasonable value and it depends on the actual dataset. Looking at background data values is a good start.

Great work! The modeling efficiency is very high. It seems that the stratigraphic sequence relationship is not considered, and the lithology, stratigraphic strike, and dip angle are directly used for lithology modeling. Can I understand that the relevant code of python is open source?
@MiraGeoscience2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, glad you like. In the code Philippe played around with, he could determine his own stratigraphic sequence by implementing the correct priorities, but you can pretty much do anything if you have basic knowledge of Python. It’s a question of reading/writing to geoh5 file open format. Geoscience ANALYST is just your free 3D viewer. We have a python playlist if ever you are interested bit.ly/3rT6rsW. The big deal with this is the extensibility - once you can move between your data sciencey space and your traditional 3D model space, if you can dream it you can do it.

Thanks for the great software. Is it possible to plot the isosurface of each element?
@MiraGeoscience3 жыл бұрын
For now it is not possible. There is a workaround, but some amount of work is involved. You need the Pro version to desurvey drillholes (there is a 10 day free trial; if you want to try it out you can activate it from the free viewer) and use our geoapps (python applications) to interpolate from ddh to block model and create isosurfaces from block model... quite a few steps, sorry. Your software, does it create cellular grids? Like for modelling an oil reservoir?
@MiraGeoscience3 жыл бұрын
Hi @Zak As, Geoscience ANALYST will allow you to create 3D grid cells for geophysical inversion, but mainly for mining industry data types. Our next release (v.3.3) will include SEG-Y 3D import and SEG-Y 2D is up next. The Free 3D viewer allows you to import, visualize, annotate, save, and distribute a multitude of 3D geoscientific data types and models. Current importable data types (v.3.2) are: AMIRA TEM, ASCII, AutoCAD DXF, DWG, Datamine, ESRI, GeoImage, Geosoft XYZ, GRD, GDB, ioGAS, Maxwell plates, GOCAD objects, ODBC drillhole paths, UBC-GIF, and VP models. mirageoscience.com/mining-industry-software/geoscience-analyst/

How would I import data that uses a different dip convention than this program? Positive dip values are read as upward drillholes, while the data I have uses the opposite convention.
@MiraGeoscience4 жыл бұрын
Hi Eric. Great question. In order to import data that uses a different dip convention than Geoscience ANALYST, you can edit your .csv survey file prior to importing. 1. Create a new column in your .csv survey file where you can multiply your dip values by -1. 2. When importing into Geoscience ANALYST (~1:10), make sure to select that new column with the corrected dip data. We can’t insert screenshots here so if you would like more information please don’t hesitate to contact [email protected] If you are interested in drillhole visualization, feel free to check out the following KZbin video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aardeXuirJl7rMU
