Described here is "micro-variation" but is that that behavior simply an ornamentation (within the chord tones or the current scale or the passing notes)? It is not clear why a basic ornamentation used to stress a particular lyric phrase (based on hyper-meter, i.e. the form of a song, which would lead to stressing the last repeat of the form such as the last verse phrase) would be a significant enough distinction which leads to creating a new term "micro-variation".

Pop music uses appogiatura as a technique to express emotion. Pop vocalists add this technique subconsciously and often can't help it (it is beyond their control, like asking a jazz instrumentalist to stop playing so many notes; they often can't). Heavy Metal does not use appogiatura and does not vary the vocal melody across multiple verses (Chris Cornell is one of the few exceptions), and typically metal will add variation in the guitar solos instead. These are most likely viewed as ornamentations or improvisations (variations on the prior licks or prior motivic theme), not a new element of a "micro-variation".

i'm not sure but i think it's some sort of a hybrid nylon string guitar, might be a hybrid nylon string archtop although i can say for sure that it was handcrafted and that there are few of these!

Don't put forward ridiculous "professionality" to make video promotional materials look plausible, but pay attention to whether the professor is properly evaluating whether it is really valuable as an educational institution or meets the criteria for graduation.
@eunmilee92702 жыл бұрын
There has never been a class that provides a syllabus for three years there. Rather, if you ask for such a thing, it is a place that treats you as a strange student. One of the professors here asks students why they came here to learn jazz and asks them to go and ask someone who knows what jazz is. Shockingly, he is a professor in the jazz department.

Curriculum? It did not run as disclosed on the website. When asked about it to prepare for exams or performances, that's where they told the students, "Just do it." The place where a fourth-grade jazz piano major student can't even play the bossanova rhythm. And it's the Maastricht Conservatory that says, "Who cares?"
