That ain't bad for using fake paint with no air! 🤣 It's actually quite impressive.
@inursparetime379018 күн бұрын
Thanks! I watched some videos of people using these craft paints in airbrushes and thought I would give it a try. I found that for fine lines and detail work I was having a big problem getting the mixtures and air pressure right. I'm still not comfortable or happy with it. I guess everything takes time. We'll see... LOL. Thanks again!

Flew right over my house in citrus hills area about 800 ft humming noise like a turbine but moving so slow totally a driving and a big one
@inursparetime3790Ай бұрын
That's what I heard... same thing, very quiet and you can hear a turbine or prop sounds. This is the second time I saw it. Both nights were at the same times, 6:15 pm. i will be looking for it again tonight, same time. lol.

I don't know if you made your own clay or not, but if you do: adding salt to the mixture will help deter mold. Also, when covering the clay with paper, for smaller, more detailed projects, I use tissue paper (the gift-type tissue, not facial.)
@inursparetime37904 ай бұрын
Thank you, Leigh, I'll remember that. I have in the past used tissue paper but not on this one. I did make my own clay. It was an old batch that I put in the freezer months ago to see if it would still work, and it did.
@pattykelly66214 ай бұрын
If you cook that flour and water mixture you will get a glue similar to wallpaper paste and it will be a lot less messy. And add a tablespoon of vinegar to prevent mold growth and insects from feasting on your creation.
@inursparetime37904 ай бұрын
Thanks Patty, I going to try that! Have a great day!

Always mix concrete into water, rather than water into concrete. Much easier. That way clumps of dry dust arent sticking to the walls of the container you're mixing in
@kfc65736 ай бұрын
🎉nice. Just what I needed. How long does it take to dry? Demolding is easy? Do I need to spray oil on it? Thanks
@inursparetime37906 ай бұрын
Mix your concrete on the firm side, like peanut butter, and you can remove the form immediately. Form will release with a little jiggle and a shake. No need to coat the form with anything. You're welcome.

I clicked on this particular video wondering how you made the coral look like that and I was blown away when you whipped out the ramen. Also, I never knew you could make paper mache mix with just flour and water. SO COOL. Watching your videos had me thinking of what I could make that would be a simple shape and an easy starter project but honestly I kinda wanna go balls to the wall and try to make the cow skull lol
