Sorry Guys I am unable to answer previous questions, I am Nirvan Abhilash (MSc Atmospheric Science 2020-2022 batch) currently a PhD student in University of Houston, Texas , USA. I was also working as a JRF in IISER Mohali before moving to USA. Regarding the questions on the placement scenarios , the placements are getting good and many students are getting job offer if they are applying of the campus recuritment drives. I my self got Job offer for +2 Physics teacher in Akash Byju's for a package of 6 LPA but I opted for higher studies. Core companies are less though so I will recommend others to give Gate XE or CSIR NET earth science during their masters to get JRF positions to improve the knowldge and work experience (If they want to stick to field) other wise in NIT there is many oppertunity for cs related jobs and some of friends got job in HCL for a package of 13 LPA. My juniors also got lot of job offers. Departments currently has many projects and hosting reputated seminars and conferences. Had MOU with IMD, IIRS-ISRO etc. Also getting a seat in MSc Atmospheric Science is currently through IIT JAM , Physics, Maths (even Stats), Chem and Geology paper.

Hello sir.I am appearing IIT JAM 2025 PHYSICS exam.I have one doubt regarding EWS and GEN category.Sir for this year i don't have EWS certificate.Can i fill as GEN in JAM 2025 Application form and when the counseling process starts i will change my category to EWS.For such i will be benefitted by making only next financial year EWS certificate and not for this year. Our university doesn't provide year wise marksheet only provide consolidated marksheet can i upload online marksheets or I have to upload consolidated ( 1 marksheet for all the semesters ,) in every year marksheets ? 😢
