I really don't like how out of control the police are in this documentary. They sound like scumbags, always swearing and telling suspects to shut up. They sound scared and unconfident. If the public swear at the police there is a good chance they will be arrested for public disorder. It is clear they are not hiring high calibre officers. They are hiring weaklings who need to swear and bully people to control them. Then they wonder why they have lost the respect of the public. In previous generations they would never swear. They just seem to take everything personal now, they argue with suspects too much. If they had true authority they wouldn't need to argue.

Souness ruined liverpool, and at this time in 1991 merson scored the goal in anfield that ended the years of liverpool domination over english top league, and they never got back there for over 2 decades again Great show, but heavily biased back then to liverpool which was understandable.

‘Rangers too big for Scotland. Come down here’. Ironic how that mentality, ended with Rangers in the insolvency courts, a couple of decades later. Rangers believed their own hype, and paid the ultimate price.

The perfect warm up for going to the game on a Saturday. ITV around this time I think had the best ever football coverage.

my late father was born in Preston, Lancashire but moved south and joined the Metropolitan Police in London. although he became a detective and eventually we moved to Liverpool and he became special branch, he had hidden secrets of trips to Northern Ireland on ships from liverpool just listening and observing during the troubles. but going back to the MET his biggest claim to fame or non-fame was near hampstead Heath as a young Bobby when he heard what he thought was a car back firing. DUH. turned out it was Ruth Ellis Killing her boyfriend. she was the last woman hanged in this country for this crime. where were you Dad ? you could have been famous!

Thanks for upload, in the days when football pundits were top quality. Saint and greavsie are opposites but work so well together, the reporters in the show also went onto big things. What do we have now, a Megan markle lookalike ex pro womans footballer heading up a football preview show. Pundits now are there more for ticking boxes than there football knowledge

Every One in that Club knew the people using the guns, they are so blatant in what they do, even the door staff know who they are, and no doubt that Night Club held a couple of hundred people and nobody seen a thing, so in all honesty I wouldn't be bothered turning up to the call for help, leave them to sort it out themselves. They don't want the Police around, they hate the Police.
