2 firsts is probably too low simply because there would be a bidding war. A lot of teams have elite edge rushers. Very few teams have elite interior pass rushers, and the ones that do never trade them. It's probably the hardest niche to fill in the NFL - even rarer than a franchise QB.

In regards to the IOL, the league in general has an offensive line problem. If they have anyone thats worth anything, i cant imagine anyone parting with them at all. Im still on the ingram train. He screws up, surely. But who doesnt? He's strong as an ox, just has to stay with his pass pro and minimize mistakes. The dam always breaks where its weakest, if its not ingram, its gonna be someone else who gives up those pressures, who gives up those sacks.

As of right meow, i need someone to tell me why we need to go after and spend for a top tier DT right now. If anything we need to be going after a suitable backup RB tandem to go with chandller cuz unfortunately, AJ is always seemingly hurt, and Chandler cant handle primary RB duties and i dont care if anyone tries to tell me otherwise.

@@vikings1stskol92 I guess i just dont agree that what we are seeing right now is unsustainable. Unless HP goes down for a long period of time. But arent we really high on these young dudes already? I just think we need more insurance to keep the offense rolling, more importantly than spending huge futre assets on an already strong group here. Sans 2 lions games, an improved DL isnt going to pull the needle the next 12 games. And i dont think moving multiple firsts is the right move.
@vikings1stskol924 күн бұрын
@@kbrewers Phillips I do think is sustainable but can you expect Bullard and Tillery to sustain there level of play? After those three, the depth is shaky. @@vikings1stskol92 Fari.. I will say i believe the system and the collection of players running the system is more important than any 1 player. But.... there is a marriage between being ahead in games and the opponents running game. So there are some nuances to assist both your and my thoughts on this. If the offense can keep rolling like we have seen 4/5 games so far, i think its more important to get a good quality player next to Chandler if Aaron Jones who unfortunately is injury prone cant suit up parts of the season. We have WR depth that i generally trust, and TE depth that seems to be solid for the most part. I dont believe Chandler is a primary RB guy at least this point in his career, but we need more AJ insurance past a Chandler Gaskin combo. D'onta Foreman could be had for cheap cheap, there are a number of guys sitting on practice squads we could nab for free. Anything is fair game at this point, but i dont see many super impact players getting moved even if their respective teams are struggling. This isnt the MLB, even though trade movement has been a bit more fluid the past couple of years.

I had a dream, or more like a nightmare last night. I was in a car accident and went into a coma for 4 years. When I woke up from it, the Vikings were getting ready to play in the Super Bowl, but everyone hated them, because they already won 4 in a row and were now playing in their 5th Super Bowl in a row. So I watched the Vikings and they lost to the Buffalo Bills. Then I woke up from my dream in a sweat, because even in my dream I never got to enjoy watching them actually win a Super Bowl, but I have now watched them lose 5 of them. Wow, talk about a nightmare. I told my wife about my dream, and she is now convinced they keep losing at the end of the season because of my negative vibes.

Remember two important things about Vikings Pass game. 1) Jefferson is the best WR in football. Jefferson demolishes competent DBs on gamedays. Elite DBs can choke off elite WR production. Think Packers Jaire Alexander not playing vs JJ. Vikes pass game dominates 28 to nothing with JJ dominating game. Sauce Gardner did play this week so Jefferson's production was minimized. Many targets to JJ vs tight coverage resulted in mixed results. There are not many Jefferson level WRs in the NFL. Same can be said for elite NFL cornerbacks like Sauce Gardner. Vikings will be fine. Sam Darnold will be competent but will be up and down game to game. Vikings will not go undefeated this year. Prepare yourselves LOL. Its the NFL and its ANY Given Sunday...

Of course, if SAM is not a franchise QB, he is a player with something unique and difficult to see in the NFL. A SECOND CHANCE. KOC's has seen something in him and that is why he gave him this responsibility. Until now, he has responded. He has the maturity and vision. He has distributed the ball and has not forced plays. He has a good offensive line and the ground attack works. KOC's knows SAM's limits and knows how far he can give as long as he keeps it at 25 and 30 passes per game. He will be able to have control of the offense. The rest is ground game and offensive line WE MUST trust SAM and KOC'S so far they are going in the right direction
