I absolutely love this platform but I am a faithful user of the VIS engine . I have been using it for the past 5 years and I have never had to change the o rings. I did have to change the donut seal early on due to a slight leak, but I'm probably well over 1 million shots since and it never had a problem with it. Now I did have a catastrophic failure of the Asa when I took a bad dive 3yrs ago and the ASA hit the ground really hard and leaked badly, but I put a thicker o-ring between the ASA and the bottom of the frame and I have not had a single leak from that since, but for me vis engine has been the most reliable bolt system I have ever used in any marker, and I can never get over how consistent this thing shoots. Even in 2023 it is my primary gun when I play recreationally but due to sponsorship obligations, I have to use planet Eclipse when playing tournaments, or else I would be using my vis if I had the choice 🙂

Hey I got a new old stock HK Trex with VIS Engine and it has a leak from the bolt/breech. I have changed all of the orings but it's still leaking. The donut is new and the pressures are dialed in. What am I missing?? Some folks say to use Dow 55 on the outter can orings.. ? Any advice will be appreciated.

People neglect the hell out of markers. Some will take the abuse better than others. I do a full tear down and cleaning of mine after each day of play. Others will run it till it has an issue then address the issue. For me it's not worth it. Keep em' clean and they'll run.

Modern decent guns shouldn’t need upgrades. Back in the day I put a little bit of money into an ion Exie new trigger I don’t know if ASA but if he neck but that was it. There was a few little things it needed to be for its time a decent gun
