I did BCT at Leonard Wood in Jan and Feb 1972 at D-1-3. Ah yes! The wonderful memories I have of BCT in 1972. Cold as hell, wooden WW2 barracks, open sleeping bay, double metal bunks, metal wall lockers, wooden foot lockers, lined up open air shitters and urinals in the latrines, all PT done in combat boots, DIs yelling and cursing in your faces and sometimes physically laying their hands on anyone who gave any attitude, mess hall was eat fast, no talking, and get out as quickly as possible. RA volunteers always got to go first in the chow line, NGs and draftees fell into the backs of the chow lines. Fun times! 😊

When you put the spacers on did it change the nut pattern? Or could you have used the same rims?
@ThorNationАй бұрын
It changed the pattern from 6 to 8 lugs. You would have to get spacers for 6 lug to use the same tires.

I went through Ft. Leonard Wood. At the time the MOS was 95B it has since changed to 31B. I was in the first MP cycle to go through Leonard Wood after Ft. McClelland closed. We got our collective asses kicked from Day 1! No cameras, No phones, No magazines, No Tv's!

Hi I have a question have you had any issues with it like a long drive or road trip
@ThorNation3 ай бұрын
I did not. It actually got better gas mileage which was weird. Just a slight rub on the front but that was easy fix.
@MKGti-xz4ve4 ай бұрын
When you turn normal ( not hard ), does it rub?
@ThorNation4 ай бұрын
It did rub a little bit. I did end up taking off part of the rubber wheel well out. But for the most part it didnt rub. So if it does just cut out some of the plastic or rubber wheel well cover. Mine was kinda broken so that might have been why.

Good info. You are like the only youtube video i found with 245/65/17. I have 2018 dodge caravan.. i believe is the same specs as Journey. Factory came in 225/65/17. I currently have 235/65/17. And i want to go 245/65/17. So i was kind of worried. But this video really convinced me to get that size
@ThorNation4 ай бұрын
@MKGti-xz4ve yeah that should look very good! I had the same van as well! And i believe those vans are pretty much the same as the Journey. They may be a bit lower though. So might need to look into raising it like 1-2inches. Not sure though.

wassup brother, hope you're doing good! I'm in a similar situation I also have a older V6 2006 Charger that I'd like to gut out inside and out and rebuild it to basically brand new. The engine was rebuilt back in 2019. I just ran into your video really enjoyed it, would just like some advice or give me insight in what you're doing with yours or what you recommend. Thanks bud much love from LA :)

My Main concern with the exterior and interior looking as it does is that they probably didn't change the oil on a regular basis either. Hopefully your engine is really still good, but. I would be concerned about that. I'm traveling the country right now in my 1998 Dodge B 1500 van. So far so good . Best of luck with your new Van. Dodges are just great vans. I don't know why they changed them after all these years. I think the new ones stink.
