wouldn't this mean that the ipad is useless because all of the stuff gets broken

Brilliant insights. Fellow post-revenue startup founder here: SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS: They will educate you about their problems. Their feedback is a free roadmap. It's better to develop 2 features that customers will use and are willing to pay for than develop 8 features that no one cares about. MONITISE EARLY: If a user pays for your product, they are more likely to use it! Furthermore monitisation help develop and finetune your value proposition. ZIRP is over. Profitabilty should be the aim, not user sign-ups. AVOID FAKE WORK: Being a startup found is cool. Network with purpose but don't waste time attention start-up events where the majority of people have zero interest in buying your product but are more interested in heir their own voices.

They don’t sell fish out of Tsukiji anymore. The market is now in Toyosu.

The tuna auction moved to Toyosu - good call out - but the original outer market with shops etc still exists, that’s where these pics are from!

@MaxGillespieАй бұрын
google it, tuna boy!
@KubathebeastАй бұрын
@@MaxGillespielol, I did that's why I called you out. First of all the market moved to Toyosu. Second, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries "the auctioneers [handle] 200 live tunas and approximately 1000 frozen tunas every day." So no, the WHOLE market is selling 200 fresh tuna in a day so this guy's stalls are selling a fraction of that.
@MaxGillespieАй бұрын
@@Kubathebeast wrong again tuna boy! “About 200 tons of the fish is tuna, 3,000 tuna fish sold every day, and more than 5,000 when it gets really busy” from web-Japan.org (the first link on Google when you google “tsukiji fish market number of tuna sold per day”)

Dude, great work! I'm certainly interested where you go with this. Minor suggestion from a UX/UI perspective: move the buttons below the input field. My internal work chatGPT even includes a drop down button where you can choose what model to use and even what database (or dataset?) to use. Just a thought.

Where did you learn the skills needed to make an app like this?
@MaxGillespieАй бұрын
Great question! From a few different places… I took quite a few CS classes in undergrad, but truthfully most of the stuff I used to make this app wasn’t covered in my college classes. KZbin university has been extremely helpful along the way for me, but tbh if I was starting from scratch today I’d start by learning everything I can from a chatbot like ChatGPT and then supplementing with additional material from folks on KZbin - getting going is the hardest part and being able to ask questions on the go is pretty important. most modern LLM’s can help you get to the base level of skill/understanding to lay out a tech stack like the one in my video in my opinion. If you just asked any chatbot how to build a swiftUI XCode app, and the associated python backend, and then kept asking follow up questions, you’d be able to figure it out pretty easily
@joshuachambers9302Ай бұрын
@@MaxGillespie Thanks for the advice! I think a great addition to this would be following some of the premade roadmaps you can find online as well so you know what questions to ask Chat GPT or another chatbot and also where to start.
