There was one activity that we paid to see, but everything else that we did was free. The paid show was a cabaret which we were not allowed to photograph during, so there are no pictures in this video of that production.

Lol. Very romantic, but this courtship ritual is more complicated than it appears. Snails are hermaphrodites, with sex organs on the sides of their head regions. And they have, I'm not kidding, "love darts" or calcified, detachable needles that they pack full of sperm & stab into their partner. So this isn't so much of an embrace as it is a combination wrestling match & jizzy knife fight. Because, on the individual level, it's advantageous to stab while not being stabbed. But! To only stab in the right spot. And where is that? Right beside the penis, lol. So to stab for babies, a snail must expose where it, too, must be stabbed. Hence this wrestling match. It wears down the partner, while gauging their fitness. It gets the snails into good stabbing position. And because snails aren't machines, I bet it feels nice for them to engage in it.
