Bol has no shot at winning the 400 hurdles at the Olympics. SML just broke her world record of 50.68, running 50.65 in the USA Olympic qualifications. Bol is very good but SML is simply great.

Btw another big problem Bol has is that she will have to run more race for her medals. Syd may only tun finals! USA depth big advantage. As a result Syd and Bol Della have raised the other women like Ana and Jasmine who have reached 52. Sec Range and may challenge for Silver and Bronze. Brilliant!! 😊

She won't stand a chance. The hurdles is a difficult technical discipline. It took McLaughlin 7 years (!) to get to the 51.46 level in Tokio and it took Bol 5 years to reach the same level in London 2023 (51.45). SMU is older then these ladies. It is to late for her, she will never reach Olympic Level.

Once you look at Femke Bol standing next to other runners and look at her extremally long legs, the magic disappears, gives her huge advantage.

Michael Phelphs type fenomenon. Talented runner plus the Dutch statistically tallest people in the world make Femke Bol the fastest 400m women runner. I've compared her picture standing some by side with Polands Natalia Kaczmarek, another world's top 400m runner, Natalia is considered tall but still half a head shorter than Femke. Here's Femke bol phenomenon explained. She is weirdly tall if you look at her limbs, gives her huge advantage, no wonder she's beating other runners.

The difference is Syd broke the world record 5 times. And is a far superior talent. Syd can run Bol's best times in her sleep.

@@csteverice Nope. A.) Bol broke the WR on the 400 flat indoor 3x + got 2 WR's on other disciplines. And actually Bol is the greater talent! McLaughlin took 6 years to get to 52.23 in 2020, before she went to Bob Kersee. Then suddenly her times started to drop. But since then mrs McLaughlin only ran 6 races or so per year. Still she got injured. What does this tell us? That mrs McLaughlin is forcing things. She runs on power, not on technique. Hence she gets injured. Bol (who is very strong by the way) on the other hand runs on technique and efficiency, with her long legs and perfect running form. That is why Bol can run and win 36 races in a row in 2023 and 1st half of 2024 without a problem. If McLaughlin would try to do that, she would already be hospitalized. That is the difference between them: Bol runs natural and efficient, on talent. McLaughlin forces things.

She destroy nothing. She is far behind Sydney McLaughlin! She ran 200m in 22.80 but Syd in 22.07, too big a difference in speed between the two for her to compete! Syd will run under 50.50.

Unfortunately for Fem, Syd is the same age. Once Syd gets done with Paris and concentrates on the 400 flat, Fem will have her chance. Then eventually Syd will run 200s, then 110h. Should be fun. I'll be in LA watching Fem win a gold medal in 400h. I was there in person in 1984 too.

Uhh... Femke Bol is not going to beat Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but that's just reality. McLaughlin-Levrone's toughest competition was at the American Olympic trials, and she blew away the entire field with another world record of 50.66. If Bol were an American, she probably wouldn't have even made the team.

Femke Bol has not got 50 secs in her legs----Even this year, she is yet to break 51-------I think she goes her PB of 51.45 in Paris, that's about it------She keeps getting slower and slower in the hurdles while athletes like Sydney, Anna Cockrell and Rushell Clayton are improving their PBs in 2024-----Bol might not even medal in Paris.

@@kobbieafriyie2172 Bol improved from 53.07 to 52.49 in ONE WEEK. Last year she went from 53.12 to 51.45, an improvement of 0.85 in two months. If she does the same this year she will be at 50.60. Faster than McLaughlins current WR. McLaughlin better watch out. Bol could overtake her.

@Bdx357 dude Sydney doesn't need Femke's help for Sydney is not only in a League of her own. 'She's in a Stratosphere of her own'. Femke is in the lower boundary of the mesosphere compared to Sydney. Barring dq or injury, Sydney will be running against time not Femke Bol or any other runner!

I think Femke is an amazing athlete and tremendous person, but she is favored to win the silver at the Olympics not the gold. Sidney McLaughlin Leveroni is just on another level.

@@rientsdijkstra4266 I’m excited, but still think Sidney is going to win. But really, there’s only two people who need to think that Femke can beat Sydney. One of them is Femke, the other is Sydney. Femke needs to believe she can beat Sydney in order to win. And Sydney needs to believe Femke is capable of beating her in order to stay on top of her game.
