Your cutting path in the back yard is wasteful… you’ve covered the same stretch more than five times.. major waste of valuable time.. … take a look how farmers plow fields.. they don’t run their machines repeatedly across the already plowed areas… Just a thought… you’ll have more time to do more work if you run the pattern more efficiently… aka if that machine is running it needs to be cutting.. good job otherwise.. your definitely doing things that is causing you more work and taking longer to finish…

@@ken3700 I charge enough money for my jobs that I’m not worried about the extra 10-15 seconds it takes to blow the driveway off. The driveway has to get blown off anyways it’s not adding as much time as you think especially if you have commercial blowers.

Do you have any issues with tire marks in some lawns? With the 42" I run tire marks and it drives me nuts. Takes a day or two for the ground to bounce back. This normal?

@@biglav6048 as narrow as these tires are they do leave marks if the yard is wet but we change direction of cutting every time. It also depends on how heavy the operator is and if they shift their weight with the machine on turns and stuff. Overall it does have narrow tires so just do your best especially on irrigated lawns to ease the ground pressure

Does your revolt sd have a slight squeaking noise at idle coming from the main spindle? If so is it normal? I got a brand new SD 0 Hours still & its got a slight squeak to it at idle.

@@arcajay2157 that’s weird mine does not have a slight squeaking noise. I would definitely recommend taking it to your dealer and seeing if they can fix it. With it being a brand new mower, it will still be under warranty.

I'm ordering the 34 inch Revolt SD for next spring and the ACS is going to be pre-installed. By the way, if you want a good cupholder, just buy about a 6 inch length of 4 or 6 inch pvc pipe, put and end cap on it, and attach it where the drink holder is. It will even hold those ridiculous Stanley cups when you finally convince your wife to mow the yard now and then!

I've been looking at the Bad Boy Revolt for a little while now. It doesn't look like there's much it can't handle, and I love the fact that I can get one small enough to fit through a regular gate. I'm not doing commercial work so it should last me a lifetime! The dealer is bringing one over next week for me to try out on our yard, and as long as it doesn't kill me I'll probably buy one.

Good question! It has been very reliable for me so far. As much as I love it I wouldn’t pick this for my only mower if I was doing 100 lawns a week. It’s a little slow ground speed wise and it’s not a full blown commercial stander (the regulars revolts are and I would recommend one of them instead for that many lawns). This mower is perfect for 50 or less lawns a week or as a secondary mower and gate getter.

Looks like a decent mower. I've always used exmark 48in turf tracers and between 52-60in exmark Lazer Z riders. Yea it stinks in the spring when I'm doing 6 houses together and it totals about 3 acres and have to run over it 3-4x. Blowing out that much land is pretty ridiculous lol.

Great video. Picked up a 34 Revolt SD last week and installed the Quick Chute last night. Easy install. What model Ballard Gold Blades did you end up going with? There is a Gold High Rise and a Gold Hybrid? I'm just a homeowner I have a well maintained 1/2 acre lot so I'm looking for the cleanest/neatest cut. Thanks

That’s awesome! The quick chute will be so handy for you. I got the gold hybrid. I notice that it cuts the clippings into finer pieces than the blades that come on the mower. It will vary between the different types of grass and height of cut between regions. I do know if you want to stripe your grass than you should get the high rise blades because they have more suction

So I got the ACS and was able to get it on my RevoltSD 34” in just under an hour. I didn’t think to take the pad off till I went to reattach the cup holder 😂. The blades I got weren’t bad boy mulching blades so I’m probably going to get the Ballard gold rippers. Can’t wait to give it a whirl tomorrow!

I also sat on my first rock and spun the blades on it like King Arthur 😩, thankfully they don’t look messed up (and I’ve got that spare pair 😂) I have to order the Ballard gold mulch blades. I didn’t realize the 34” had essentially a mulch deck underneath her.

Do you find the Kawasaki struggling? I get into some areas where the grass is 8 to 10 in high and my small 8.5 horsepower walk behind really bogs down. I have the opportunity today, when I go pick up my blades from my mower shop, to get a 42-in SD for 5k, brand new. I only mow part-time, maybe 10- 15 yards a week, at the most. Wondering how well those Hydro 2800s would be?

I’ve sure been a fan of mine! When the grass gets that tall especially if it’s wet it’s going to bog down most any mower. Mine has a 34in deck so I’m cutting a little less with the same hp and I haven’t had any issues with it. My buddy has the 42in and he cuts overgrown yards all the time and doesn’t have any issues either

Gotta order the shoot and the new blades. Figure I’d stick with the baby to maintain warranty integrity for now. Hope they come out with more accessories like a front dethacther. Do you plan on chute bagging at all? Would a chute bagger work with the ACS?

Hmm, I might pick up a 42", how many hours do you have on it? Only thing I worry about is the 2800 hydrogear transmissions, not sure they'd last as long as the 3000 series the larger mowers use.
