Yes it is. Had it for about 16 years now. The tomato clownfish is 31 years old this year. 😀

just double check the PH on the apex as they read much lower than all other test kits, lots of other people have said the same, i tested mine against hanna ph red sea ph etc and they read 8.6 and the apex was reading 8.1,i purchased another new neptune double junction probe and that was reading 8.1 also.Great shop by the way👍
@garymillard5368 ай бұрын
Thank you. Have to admit I thought it was reading low as the display runs at about 8.3 with other testers. I just put it down to probe maybe bedding in a bit as the readings are rising each day. Thank you for the info. 👍

May i ask how you deal with aiptasia in your display tank? Thanks
@planetoceanaquatics4292 жыл бұрын
Hi , I don’t really get them that badly tbh. Got 1 or 2 but don’t let them bother me. Unless you get a lot or they are bothering corals I just leave them alone. Trying to get rid of them manually can make matters worse in my experience. Using things like aiptasia juice killers rarely work imho. If you are experiencing issues then try peppermint shrimp, aiptasia filefish or if your aquarium is large enough, a copperband butterfly. However the fish options aren’t without issues either as the filefish may eat corals and the copperband is difficult to keep long term. Hope this answers your question. Best regards.
