Stange that a straight 6 is about the same as a v8 this is why volvo stuck with a straight 6 while scania went all in with v8 to get more performance but you cant go wrong with either of the two the only issue is the scania is expensive to be repaired because of all the sensors compared to the volvo so take care of that v8 when you get it.

Scania always stronger because they measure their HP from the diff, while Volvo measure their HP from the flywheel. So even the "weaker" Scania is stronger in reality. If Scania measure their HP like Volvo they would have 800+HP by now.

The power of a truck is measured at the crankshaft output. This is a European standard (CE 582/2011). Scania and Volvo measure their engine power in the same way

According to the technical documentation, it appears that for the Scania the measurement is in accordance with the ISO 3046 standard, which specifies the measurement of power at the flywheel level. Do you have any different information? If so, please cite the sources, as there is nothing regarding this. Therefore, the measurement is comparable for Scania and Volvo. What advantage would Scania have in performing a minimized measurement? Just false information spread by people who have no idea what a technical document is.

Opticruise is better gearbox than I-Shift, every truck I have driven with I-Shift will do weird shifts, in this video maybe it shifted too high and lost all momentum at the start, Opticruise and Scana every day over a Volvo!

V8 é sem palavras,na região montanhosa com 20 cv a menos a faixa de torque em baixa rotação,o Scania fala mais alto sempre, volvo é um caminhão bom de tecnologia mais está longe do Scania, parabéns pelo vídeo e pelos pilotos
