Great tips, thanks for the video, specially regarding topping up the ski pass! Regarding the gondola queue/buses, I heard the bus queue can also easily take 1.5hrs, we will be in Bansko last week of February and we're going by car from Sofia. Would you say it's better to just go by car instead of getting the queues? Any tips regarding parking, times to go up, anything helps, we're trying to be as prepared as possible to not waste our holidays in huge queues.

Pirin street is much nicer then two years ago, when we were there in July. We will come to Bansko in March. Let's hope that the snow conditions are ok by than.

Thank you for the update, coming in February for the third time, can't wait. My favourite is Obetsanova Mehana. But almost all of them are perfect for those who prefer traditional food like me. Bansko is a gem, offers so much for a great vacation.

I've been down there a few times, had some great food & drinks great places to visit very friendly and welcoming prices are very good you don't get ripped off would recommend a visit

Nice video. Lovely street. Spoilt for choice with the number of bars and restaurants in Bansko. I have had some of the nicest meals in restaurants in this street. Please could you re-visit Pivoteka which is close to where the video finished? I am at risk of ditching skiing in February to spend afternoons enjoying the beer 🍺

I was in Bansko summer 2021, the whole of Pirinstreet was a mess they were doing some pipe work. Coming over for xmas this year looking forward to see it wintertime and actually explore more than what we did in 2021. We did not have much time were only there for the day. Certainly going to BG property 👍👍

Hi just need help with finding some were cheep to say at the end of January I usually stay at some were like the lion with my daughter I tured up last year the day I snowed in January any way this year its just 4 lads and them are on a tight Budget so if you could point us on the right road would be good

Coming out mid Feb, came during the championship last year, the weekend was busy , but shocked other days just walked straight on. Great I no longer have school children !

@@EyalSLA early February is generally less busy but it’s always hard to say in terms of snow. Snow is not Leah and huge dumps of snow can happen at any time so I would come when it suits you. But Barry mind that weekends are always busier, so try and have, at least two short trips if possible. It’s more to look forward to and it gets you more skiing and that’s always a good thing.

@@BeckyBowers23 this year I’m expecting just the weekend before the 3rd of March to be busy rather than the 4/5 or six. So coming out from the 4th of March is a better idea than coming out at the end of February. Of course all times are good, but I’m just thinking of it being relatively quieter.

@@cameron4994 every day in every season the weather is different so generalisations are always wrong. That said typically from mid February to the first week of March you can expect probably the best snowfall. But we have had huge snowfall in mid March in many years too. And we’ve also had a huge snowfall right to the beginning of January around the fifth or six of course this is going from memory rather than any particular scientific study.

booked airbnb for christmas, wanna scout the area in preparation for buying property there hopefully next year. Any idea which bank is good in Bansko to open a bank account as a non resident? Need bank account to transfer money to buy and pay for bills that come with a property until I can become a resident.....thanks for the update :)

FiBank is convenient if your property is in the gondola lift area. Useful that they have an ATM at gondola lift, outside the Kempinsky hotel and outside Four Points Hotel.

@@althr321 typically only around a quarter of the lift are open at the opening date and there have been some years where there’s been very little open. So I would not book in advance for the 15th or 16th of December.and wait-and-see what the snow is like.
