Impressive video, Strength Coach Network. Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on neck training for concussion prevention are crucial. Have you considered how integrating balance training could further enhance the effectiveness of your protocols?

@StrengthCoachNetwork even in this video he contradicts himself. He is always going on about how nothing you do in the weight room will mimic sport, and that's okay, then he says he doesn't like weightlifting because it doesn't mimic sport lol. 🤷🏻♂️

I love Cal Dietz and have applied a ton of things that he talks about, and I love band assisted jumps mostly because athletes enjoy them and it’s a good way to expose them to a new type of jump that they haven’t done. But just because the rationale of band assisted jumps is to get off the ground more quickly, that’s not actually what happens. The band is literally resisting you as you descend into the jump, it’s pulling you up as you go down. So it’s actually making your countermovement slower and keeping you on the ground longer than a body weight jump. It’s not over speed, literally the only benefit of doing band resisted jumps is to jump as high possible. If you want to train joint stiffness and speed of contraction etc, you’re better off just training body weight plyos. Ha saying you’re not doing your job as a strength coach by not doing band assisted jumps the “right way” is funny when you’re not actually thinking about what’s occurring in a band resisted jump. I love Cal but the rationale of getting off the ground fast makes no sense because the band literally makes you get off the ground more slowly, lessens the stress of the movement because it lightens your body weight and lessens the impact of landing.

I just checked out your KZbin channel and wanted to commend you on your fantastic video content and stunning thumbnails. However, it seems your videos aren't getting the exposure they deserve. I watched several of them and was thoroughly impressed. These videos should be reaching a much larger audience. Are you interested in boosting your organic subscribers and attracting more viewers to your channel?

7:25 the pendulum has just gone a bit too far. It's great that physios have been given the opportunity to have access to all the tools. i think i do a fat better job at clinically reasoning when an injection might be appropriate Vs a GP. We've all heard of the stories of 10 injections in primary care before considering physio. Can't we do a better job at strategically using everything at our disposal. I work in primary care, MCAS, injection clinic... I've got about a broad of a scope of the situation as you can have. My biggest gripe is waiting times and the push towards self management. These poor patients wait 3 months for assessment, discharged with home exercises then they're back a year later.

It releases weight when the chains hit the floor and when you’re contracting back to the top the chains lift giving it more weight. It’s just training to squeeze and push harder on that portion of the lift. It does help tho

Olympics is just becoming a scam.. Barely any cities wants to host anymore as it will just cost you a 💩ton of money. The athletes barely gets paid.. In Beijing 2008 the revenue was $3.6 billion, with costs over $40 billion. Tokyo “2020” was $5.8 billion in revenue and $13 billion in costs.

$37K is a joke. For many of these athletes, they can't survive without significant help on the home front. For most, this is a full time job and even your rest time is consumed by hours spent in recovery from their workouts. Working full time is out of the question and even a part time job could hinder your progress if its not the right part time job.

@@justinconner3865 You only need to be the best in the world to get the bonus every four years. It's a bonus for being the best in the world. Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles didn't score the bonus on the solo competition at this year's Olympic games, but got everything else. Biles has a 16mil net worth. 70k + sponsorship deals is not that bad of a deal (comparing to other workers in general), if you consider that bumping their base salary up would probably mean some shenanigans like the government or some sports organization keeping the sponsorship/deals.

I don’t think they do it for the money man. That’s not what these athletes are about. But you are also forgetting brand deals, sponsors, events
