I wondered the same I don’t live in Calgary anymore but I searched this up wondering the same thing. On google it says he died in British Columbia. So he might have come through Calgary but he never ran through Calgary sadly.

I remember when he came through Ontario. I was 19 at the time, he was largely ignored when he went through Quebec, they raised very little money there, got very little media coverage, and was forced to stay off major roads. It was a completely different story when he crossed into Ontario.

Terry fox raised alot of money for cancer research, back when terry was still alive about 2% of kids with lukemia survive, now almost 90% of kids with lukemia survive, his ran really changed canada, Rip Hero 🇨🇦
