The reason the effect can work like that is that on Bandai's official rule page it states that effect is "you may" because your hand is classed as a private area that your opponent has no access to look. That is why you can place 5 hybrids underneath your tamer and not do the warp digivolve into emperorgreymon. I am a hybrid player myself and I was confused about that just the same as yourself but once I seen that part of the effect was a "you may" I understood it better. I even talked about it in my red hybrid deck profile I did for my team channel but I hope my explanation helped.

I use to play the Panini DBZ card game pretty competitively and when they were forced to close on down and then this game came out I tried to switch for a bit but sadly the veggie meta just outright killed my desire to play it.

@The_Puggernaught ah yes the veggie meta. Kale/cabbage/caulifla were definitely not fun in the beginning. This game is in it's 3rd set and NOTHING seems too oppressive. What was already got hit with a list and it's been healthy since and set 3 just came out. I'd recommend giving it a try. Like I mentioned in the video if you're in the Lafayette area we meet at Sanctuary Games and Comics in Lafayette on Saturday at 1pm. We have a guy who has every deck built of you wanna test the waters and gauge interest. I'll be there thus Saturday with him and others in our local community. Pass by if you're free

@user-us2eu4yb4r yes so you can destroy it to play a lvl 5 when you want. Any lvl2/rookie you'd bring out A-clogs up the decks consistency and B- the rookie can be kill by your opponent leaving you no sacrifice material for your dark masters/lvl 5s

@beardedcat9744 much of the value comes from the omni zward defeats and alter b. Rest of it is very cheap other than Deathx if you chose to run it. You don't have to but it is nice

Correct. I've considered the more dp reduction but honestly I centered its playstyle around my locals, and we have a few alpha/machinedramon (can't be dp reduced) decks floating amongst us, so I opted for the Marcus dealing a hit and if it dies then he'll recover to top security. So they're basically -1 and im +1 security stack. Typically

I run 4 ex4 Rizegrey and 4 Bt-13 consistency had been too good for me. I’ve been consistently able to neg 12k plus from security on a Marcus swing

So I run Avalon Gate, in security it rest a digimon and unsuspend one of your own which helps when you've used your Examon to block an incoming attack. Also thinking of running Flower Cannon so I can suspend and attack to activate the security burn of Breakdramon.

I actually have added hell masquerade from the imperial starter deck! But I only run it at one. I took out a blue memory boost for it. Gives 2k and pierce for 1 cost

This is a fun deck. the current build is 12 rookies, 10 champions, 8 Ultimates, 7 megas, and 4 ultras. In the vpets, lv.7 digimon are classified as ultra. With the next set being around Royal Knights, I can see us getting an X-Antibody forms of Dracomon and Examon since they already have them. This deck main weakness is bounce and de-digivole

I like this list! I appreciate that you run the Monimon because I do too. 🙂 My deck has the BT7 Monitamon in it too and not as many Chikuri. Seems like a lot of people don't run the BT7 now in favor of more Chikuri so I might try this out.

Actually no. I feel it's not a bad card, but for my locals it's not needed at all. Depends on your local scene and if you feel you need to make a darkknight from trash then go for it. Also couldn't find room for it also. Needed consistency and answers for my local players.

the bt07 DarkKnightmon's All Turns effect is meant to read "When this digimon would be deleted". it's an interruptive effect like decoy :)

With my locals bt10 hype was real. Everyone's playing bt10 decks and few things have play cost of 7 or less. Lost of Digimon with shoutxross and blue flare are higher than 7

Pagumon that on deletion reveal top card and add if it'd a black digi is definitely a good secondary choice. It's completely personal preference. I just would hate to reveal a nene or my few izzy and have to bottom deck it. But I definitely understand pagumon for consistency

Maybe cuz the ones in the starter those are technically the max rarity Davis, maybe it will cause the old copy of Davis to drop.

I always thought the perfect combo was having the tamer, and lighdramon evolved on Jamming Veemon. Activate firerocket -> attack for 2 -> lighdramon dies -> Digivolve into either Magnamon or Flamedramon (Need memory tamer for Magnamon at this point) and tap tamer if it's flamedramon -> attack for 2 again

Honestly could do 6 check in 1 turn if you had 6 memory. Just requires 1 tamer, a lighdramon on a Jamming veemon and some hand luck :)

Update: I edited this deck. Now it has starter guilmon/ promo biyo/ huckmon all at 4. Gallant in here has been replaced with the starter gallant. And I managed to squeeze in 3 of the red memory boost by dropping a copy of each the dp boost lvl 4 greymon, a tai and a judgement.
