It depends from the problem you had before. If It is was broken then you should check the cables again and check if it is the right panel for your notebook. If it still not working maybe the new panel is defective also.

that is a hell of a process. i think that the used t490s that i purchased has had a cheap, chinese, keyboard replaced in it and it doesn't feel like a normal Thinkpad. think i might just sell it instead of trying this lol.

Unfortunately no. Electronics are weird sometimes.. The only advise is to charge your battery and discharge. To use the battery. Not always with power adapter.

It depends on the layout of your keyboard. For US it's shift+2 for UK it's two keys left of enter +shift. For other layout it will be different. Check to the internet.

No I don't have a video for only a key. Unfortunately keyboards are different each other so you have to find a similar keyboard with the same key base in order to replace it.

Hi.For model 4HJ78UP spare part number for battery is 933321-855.Of course you can buy aftermarket but for sure the original battery is always a better idea.

You have to disable build in battery from bios in order to work properly. For Lenovo F1 is the correct key for bios.

If you mean each other there are different. Otherwise if your keys are broken for example you can do it but you have to be very careful in order not to brake the base of the key.

Hi ,sorry for the delayed answer.. Keyboard replacement is just as in video.. You have to disassembly everything in order to change it. It not only keyboard but the whole top cover. So for someone who has no experience is not so easy but it depends from your skills. Check again this video for any help. Thank you
