I am personally all self taught and I still feel like I have no clue lol. I make my own mixes and post them here on KZbin using the only method I know, and that’s converting my Spotify playlists through tidal and then into my serrato and deck. My issue is this is the most convenient way for me to play music cuz I can listen to tracks whenever and make playlists accordingly but at the same time I’m solely reliant on my internet connection so I can stream. How or where do I go to actually purchase or download my music so I’m not so reliant on internet connection to mix? Seems like a dumb question but I actually don’t know the most efficient way to play the music I love but bypass the streaming part, you know? I’m fully self taught no idea what I’m doing or the techniques but I love it and wanna be able to play a venue without relying on internet

I use mp3 juices to get all of my music and I pay $2.20. a month for unlimited video and music downloads. I use deezer as my other dj app when I can stream,when I'm not able to get wifi I have everything backed up on flash drives and a external hard drive 1-3tb.

If you plan to play at a private event ripping songs is ok. But if you are going to a festival, concert, or public event never do it. Trust me the label or artist will find out and they will sue you for every dollar you made that day.

As a wedding/graduation/traveling dj who plays everything from hip hop, classic rock, country, oldies, latin, old school etc... what's the best dj pool that just gives you regular original songs? I don't really want remixes I'm not a club dj. I dj for families and companies mostly so I just want original music. I remember I had a dj pool and I couldn't find the most popular music like The Weeknd, George Straight, or Micheal Jackson so I ended up deleting and unsubscribing from the dj pools

Sadly SoundCloud is no longer even a good site to upload mixes on because of the limited space.. One 1 hour mix is too much space and it kinda just sucks.
