Unconditional love doesn’t mean unconditional acceptance, and I believe what he calls human love here is discernment whether we should accept the things others do in our lives. He confuses acceptance with love as his first premise.. and sadly, many Christians do too. “You don’t love me unconditionally!” Yes, I do.. and I don’t need to accept fraud, theft, manipulation, gaslighting, projection and others to prove my love. That’s not how it works.

The lesson in that parable threw me for a loop, too, but Pastor Brad helped me understand it positively. It's important to do for others, be generous and thoughtful. Give without wanting in return. Your ROI is in heaven.

I had great friends who care about me but in my new walk with Christ we haven't been as close. I intercede for them daily and still keep lines of communication open. I pray they come to faith like I did. Being an introvert, I shy away from J-Groups but I feel the spirit nudging me.

GOT A WAY OUT. HES COMING SOON. I LOVE YALL. BODY OF CHRIST OR THE WORLD. WHOEVER READS THIS. THE GOV IS IN BED WITH ALOT OF OF THESE BUILDINGS TAX FREE AND ENGLAND is shutting down "church" CANT SHUT DOWN THE BODY OF CHRIST. PEOPLE READ YOUR BIBLES KJV BIBLE ON YOUR OWN WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. My brother/sister in Christ, I heard your warnings and there are some truth within it, but I encourage you to read Matthew 18 in full. Matthew 18:20 is misused so often. It has nothing to do with having "Church service", it's about the local Church's authority over its members and settling disputes within its members, holding people accountable for their sins, and encouraging them to repent and be in community with Jesus and the body of Christ which is his church (Believers in Christ, not a building).

I live in Los Angeles, my mom is a greeter at your church in DE. Barbara Mack. She often sends me your sermons. Appreciate your personal transparency. Your teachings widen my eyes every time..i’m not all that, no matter biblical academia or any academia. I need to stay close to Christ, and love. Thanks pastor.

There is no forgiveness without repentance

I feel this man, it’s hard to forgive people who’ve hurt you, but it is not our job to judge , but rather our job to point them towards Christ; love our enemy as our father does. I pray all do the same for me , and that we all forgive those who’ve wronged us, just as for has forgiven us and all people. Thank you pastor !

I’ve forgiven people for the things they’ve done to me.. but does that mean I forgot? Like when I talk about the events it’ll sometimes bring up old feelings but I go: it’s okay cause I’ve forgiven them, they don’t understand what they did to me and I’m over it.” I think I really have forgiven a lot of ppl.. lots of situations and what not.. But I’ve also removed certain ppl outta my life who caused those issues, but that’s not to say if I saw them again I’d be all.. rude. I probably would t say anything unless they said something to me. And I’ve tried to reconnect with old ppl before but they haven’t gotten over situations. So I tend to just leave them be..

It's takes a lot more than joining a group to help with someone's loneliness. It also depends on how much meaningful relationships they had with others wheater or not they can build up again through other people's hearts.
@TheJourneyTV7 ай бұрын
Completely agree! Relationships are hard work and being intentional about them is so important, but joining a group can be the first step that someone takes to make that happen! God will put people in our lives for a reason.
