We have to remember anything that’s in the museum was stolen taken away from my ancestors due to white man’s law against potlatches ,indigenous ceremony . so all things carved would be removed and taken out of the community And placed in museums or private collections . Anythingwas that was a gift it was to get rid of the person you were gifting it to.

Did you watch this? The elders were paid a sum of money for this. They insisted it be moved when the people were at their winter camp. Bosa who worked for the American Museum of Natural History in New York had representatives buying artifacts all over western North Amer.

hi Sir, thanks for sharing your video. I´m trying to give a second life to my Macpro 3.1 that was stored for a while, but as you can see in this video, it seems ok when I plug in the power cable, but it turns off after a few seconds and doesn´t turn back on. Have you any idea what´s is probably going on ? Thanks for your help. kzbin.infoCABdM9t6lTY?feature=share

I just learned that a long time ago the vancouver island was sold. That is why all logging roads are gated, private property. How the hell could that happen. How is that even allowed. Wtf is going on with our country. If the island catches fire how the hell am I supposed escape with every road gated. This is appalling , and I will find out who is responsible for this, and who purchased it. I have a right to know. Does anyone know?. Please inform those of us that actually care about our forests. It would be greatly appreciated.

I've lived my entire life on the island and dont plan on moving when I graduate high school. I love this place and never want to leave. Fishing is a huge passion of mine, its really to bad how the salmon are struggling so much because of all these environmental changes. I'm also sad about how the entire island used to be old growth rainforest, and now is 2nd, 3rd and even 4th growth.
@EdwardHomerVIC6 ай бұрын
Curious what area you are in. Every year there seems to be a big run of spring salmon in the Campbell River heading for the hatchery on the Quinsam. Starts in Aug and it is easy shore fishing. Cheers! Ed

@@EdwardHomerVIC I live in the Comox valley, so fish the Puntledge mostly. I look forward to the coho run in the Qualicum again this year, last year I had a but of luck. And yes there are lots of chinook here in the Puntledge aswell, but I was more talking about the past sockeye and steelhead runs that are now none existent in the Puntledge. I've heard from a book called Land of Plenty based in the Comox valley, that the runs of steelhead and sockeye were large before the Comox dam was put up and logging in the Cruikshank canyon.

@EdwardHomerVIC6 ай бұрын
Unable to get to the river but what I can tell you is that it is working. Just upstream from the weir is a house right above the river and a road if the weir was not working that house and section of road would be gone.
@stijnt23776 ай бұрын
Thanks for responding! I am glad its working but can't help feeling that enabling housing to be built closer to the rivers and creeks is not the desired outcome from these types of interventions.

Great video ! I am going to try using a grooved trowel for my first coat of Beadex general purpose drywall mud over osb . I want to build an even depth of mud. Let it dry . Then repeat with a long trowel. Will use a grooved trowel same as what is used for tile adhesive. . If I succeed I should get the same look as fully finished sheetrock. If I don't succeed , I will know that experiment did not work. . I will do my final coat with a 20" trowel so im hoping to get a nice flat surface .
@EdwardHomerVIC7 ай бұрын
Sounds like a great idea. Good luck.
@gumboot657 ай бұрын
@@EdwardHomerVICI should say, a notched trowel. 1/4" notched. And prep the osb with a solution of 60/40 water and yellow wood glue. Roller it on. As soon as it's tacky start with the mud.
