I love it, but I’ll honestly say this is not a beginner plane. Even seasoned rc guys had issues with it. Best to practice with a trainer plane then try an easier jet like a freewing avanti. Have somone at a local club do a buddy box flight with you as well.

Don't buy this jet till you see all the videos on this f14 some are good and some are bad. When one wing does not go back ln the air or wing rod pops off this is not the pilots fault like some reviewers like say two guys rc. Freewing and motion should stop selling this jet till a v2 comes out. But they won't. Like i say look at all the videos before you buy. My mistake i was talking about the 64mm f14 not the 80mm.

Debt perception error. Last time that happened to me, a light pole hit my airplane. Just flying around like normal, when this light pole swung itself right into my airplane. Really pissed me off.

@@freestilelyfestyle Have you had issues with it before? For what its worth mast bump might be hard to avoid during all the acrobatics since the blades can flex quite a bit and still hit the boom. I would say its not really the fault of the helicopter. Probably the only way to prevent it is to avoid unloading the rotor.

Thanks😎 no gyro, it’s quite stable once it’s all dialed in and you find it’s stall speeds, I have high rates on elevator and low rates on ailerons

No trimming needed😆 only added more throw to ailerons, I tested flaperons as well in that flight. Lands good spoilerons

This was very hard to watch. I have the same jet and I’m terrified to maiden it. It’s been built and it is a shelf queen for the last year and a half. I keep telling myself once I feel I have enough experience, then I’ll maiden it. I have the same situation with my free wing 80 mm A-10 thunderbolt. I’m also afraid to maiden that one! Lol.

All airplanes will eventually crash 😩 can’t it’s just some are faster than others. The A10 is definitely easier to fly. As for the Tomcat, fly it with the wings out and get a good feel for it. Only sweep the wings when you’re comfortable.. And of course keep the speed up.

What motor/prop/cells is this? Certainly looks like 200+ mph. Sounds like 6s 1900kv or there abouts, in which case 220 mph is about right.

Yes you’re right!! 6s 1900kv 28mm motor from freewing, prop is a 6x6.5 speed prop.. not apc my guess it’s at least 180mph 😎

Yeah a 28mm motor is gonna be right around 190-200mph. The Fusion will actually take a 39mm motor, such as the HET Typhoon motors. Great to see someone else flying the Fusion! I have had 316mph out of one with 14s and 9kw with a 7x14 folding prop. Hold it by the nose when you launch vertically, it is more likely to go straight! Nice flying! Takes a good pilot to handle that speed LOS!!@@freestilelyfestyle
