Seems like you did a good job with the porting process. It’s crazy how obvious the degeneration in the quality of the franchise is when you stick the old geometry in a modern Sonic engine. The newer titles just don’t compare.

Wow, this really puts into perspective how many changes and improvements Shadow Generations makes over the Frontiers gameplay engine. Can’t wait for that game to come out and start getting mods!!!

It doesn't make any changes, it's an old engine. It's literally Sonic Generations. If anything, the engines that followed suit were downgrades in a lot of ways

@@godofthecripples1237Shadow Generations is a new game that uses the most recent Hedgehog Engine 2, the one used for Sonic Frontiers with a few new tweaks. Generations used a totally different one as it's 13 years old

Try it with the momentum mods, tbh i installed many mods, fused together and with that type of maps it becomes peak Sonic experience

This just goes to show how slow the colours/forces/frontiers boost is that is the problem with the modern boost games and seemingly shadow generations will continue this

Colours boost ≠ forces boost ≠ frontiers boost. And frontiers was never a boost game like the previous one. It's an another take on the boost

If you watch some good gameplay of Shadow Generations (which is kinda hard to find), you'll notice that alot of issues have already been addressed

The frontiers boost is plenty fast and can turn on a dime, also, the faster the boost is the worse the level design is as it has to become just a striaght line, unleashed has awful controls

Man the Forces/Frontiers in game model of Sonic looks so bad. When you swap it for Shadow the model looks even worse. Shadow’s legs look so short in the video thumbnail lol

That looks like a good map for the game 😃 Sure the jets which fire at the loop-de-loops are missing but the rest looks good to me.
