Dang, didn’t think about how the hornets could have had Wemby. Imagine Melo and Wemby. That would have been crazy.

Horrible video! Highlights don't match the narrative! Narrator talks about Bird's "Left Hand Game" showing highlights of Bird doing a right hand jump shot. Many other examples as well. Also, there are no young NBA stars saying, "Larry Who?" Horrible video.

When Larry was playing I was watching absolutely the best all around player . Every possession was like it was his last . He dove for everything always putting his body on the line. And now I never watch the nba the game has been totally destroyed 😪

Jordan was always egocentric. Never cared about anyone but himself..... Just cuz u a goat doesn't mean u get to do what u want... For his gambling he shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame... Pete Rose for Cincinnati for banned for gambling in baseball. I admit Jordan was good but he didn't deserve the immunity he received

No offense to MJ and LeBron Larry is the GOAT. Don't ask me ask Isaiah Thomas Magic Johnson Bill Laimbeer Reggie Miller and numerous other Hall of Famers who is the GOAT . I agree if you didn't grow up watching Bird and the Celtics Pistons Celtics Lakers Celtics Sixers rivalries there has been nothing like it since . Not Jordan not LeBron not anyone playing then or now have the all around game that Larry Bird had. Bird played at the time where you could hand check, clothesline, punch a player not even get called for a technical. Michael played in an era that was weak.

And we should remind that we should not compare the soft era of Lebron to this guyz in 80s and 90s they played era of brutality and imagined Jordan scored 30 point per game where hand check and brutal defense was on the rise. We should not compare the achievement of brutal era to soft era, its unreasonable to compare them since those players from brutal era played a very difficult games with hand check etc. Because if lebron played in those times even in his prime, he could not be compared to Carl Malone which I believe is more better than him in a miles away. Let's put the soft era on their level of game and put the brutal era to the highest level of the game which cannot be back again in the future. And also those displayed their highest IQ than those in soft era, their adaptability and enhanced of ever games styles are high enough to be in the top of pyramid.

If Jokic stays healthy he could be in the conversation. Besides hanging around long past his welcome , Lebron is not in my top 25. Lebron would have zero titles if he hadn't assembled all star teams. Players better than Lebron if your comparing prime years : MJ , BIRD , MAGIC , WILT ,RUSSELL , JABAR , OLAJAWON , EWING ,KOBE ,SHAQ , DR. J , DIRK , JOKIC and I'm just warming up.

Take a shot to win a game, I'll take Jordan...Take a shot to save my life, I'll take Bird. Said by Pat Riley. The man was a killer, the higher the stakes, the better he got. Larry is in my top 5, the guy just elevated everyone around him simply because the man made everyone that much better.

Nice Video production. I am proud to say I am also an original "Hick from French Lick". My sister graduated with Larry at Springs Valley, High School in French Lick, Indiana. When I was in the 8th grade Larry was my P.E. assistant (Larry had a choice of Study Hall or P.E. Assistant). A book is to be released later this year, the 50th anniversary of Larry's Senior year as a Springs Valley Blackhawk. I have seen a lot of books about Larry but this one will be unlike any released before. The author, Dr. Randy Mills dove deep into old newspaper articles, stat books, coaches, teammates, even a few rival players. Also, resident's of French Lick, guys he played ball with at the local parks. Some of Larry's signature moves were developed on the town park courts. I saw things Larry did with a basketball... Wow.... I also recall the time a classmate called Larry "Tweety Bird" one too many times. I think it may be in the book. The book is titled, "As If By Magic".
