Same thing happened with my ice green gem IV, I had to use sticky tape to help me reassemble it. Strangely it turns great whereas my black version is really catchy.

I think that actually during 30 degree turns the add on layers can slide off.It happens on Tony Fisher's 4x4x6 and 2x2x7 as well.

i am going to do something to mine to make it playable. i got the QJ and it catches really bad. i think i will soften all the inside edges so that they slide past eachother more easily.

you really have to learn how to properly saw... first clamp down this completely useless desk box thingy... just press the pieces on the edge of your desk, it's way easier because it doesn't slide on 2 different pieces and you don't have to align 2 sides which are gonna slide while sawing. just put them on your desk corner or side and then saw while holding the saw 90degree straight ;) but nice tut.

Not bad.But on my 3x3x5 built this way the corners often snap and break because of the glue,damn thing.I am making another 3x3x5 from 3x3x4,so that the corners are unbreakable.This is much harder but well worth it.

Here: I got it horrible so i Florine Modded it and added maru lube and sanded the parts of the pieces down and it is my main.

I just finished making one, it came out awesome! Thanks for the tutorial. Although it was EXTREMELY catchy on the extended layers, but after I sanded down the stalks to make them thinner and rounder, it turned great. Its not the best turning puzzle, but im pretty sure its still better than calvin's.

I hate the calvin's 3x3x5 it pops so much and the center fall apart
@RalphV8 жыл бұрын
So all you're doing is making cubes, and then gluing them to the extra pieces of the super 3x3? I dont get why you'd reccomend a 3x3x4, when you can do it for cheap from a spare 3x3. IS it just because the extra parts from the 3x3x4 can make a 2x3x3?
@andersreine96058 жыл бұрын
If you use 3x3 pieces you will have to use apoxy to fill the holes and theyre harder to cut.
@RalphV8 жыл бұрын
Anders Reine ...no. I ordered the cubes after writing this comment, finished the mod a few days later. It turned out great. I didnt need to fill anything, and the pieces werent hard to cut.. why would I need epoxy? What would make them harder to cut?

Do I need 2 Cube4you 3x3x4's or just one?

You only need a 3x3x3 and super 3x3x3.That's how I made mine.
