Hi Mike, it was cold that night mate lol. When your using your bait m8 tool, don't rap the elastic tight and it slides off every time matey. The elastic then grips the bait when comes off. I was having that problem and a guy showed me . Hope it helps??. All the best from GRIMSBY

@mikewhite.solofishing. its changed alot tho.we used to cut nylon tights into strips and wrap around bait now u use pva. We use to tenderise the squid and turn it inside out and pierce a few times to release juices. We use to use paraffin lamps to keep us fingers warm and sit pies on top to heat up. And we still blanked!!!!!

@mikewhite.solofishing.12 күн бұрын
Good knot is that one. I used to use it if I tie at home but can’t do it when out and about I use back to back grinner can do that in the dark no problem

Last time I went fishing I did the same with my box and it knackered my back up for a week. Nice haddock worth the cold hands.

Superb. Try down Far Ings Lane in Barton Upon Humber, keep driving till it turns into a farm track and follow it right till you come to a small car park. You can park up next to the marks and fish and normally it is quiet there and can produce.

Point system how does that work? How many points do you get for each fish or is it the legs?
@mikewhite.solofishing.14 күн бұрын
Different fish have different points. The longer the fish the more points. So let’s say a dab of 20cm is say 12 points.A cod of 20cm might be more like 25 points (I am guessing the points here) a guy had a 54cm bass that was worth about 100 points. Hope that makes sense sense.

Sorry to ask did someone go in the water around 4pm as the search and rescue were out including the helicopter must have been looking for something
@mikewhite.solofishing.14 күн бұрын
Looked like they was practicing because they was there for 5 minutes when it was light then back for another 5 minutes in the dark. If someone was missing they would of stayed longer while light I guess

Put a chock of wood wrapped in black electrical tape behind the back part of your seat box there’s already 2 holes for screws to go into saves it digging into your back… for your cart wings and sticks use a Flask keep them frozen and get one out at a time. Great vid keep them coming and good luck for the cod season tight lines. 🎣

That split ... dry it, pull it apart slightly, a drop of supper glue, push it together n hold it closed for 10 seconds....... instant relief m8. Supper glue will come off depending on how much you use the finger. Just pick the dry stuff off n reapply glue. Split will be gone in a few days. No pain no stinging just relief.

Hi m8 wat rod you use for cod? And is it rung for a multiplier thx?
@mikewhite.solofishing.16 күн бұрын
Use whatever you want there’s loads out there depends on the ground that you’re fishing beach or rough. I am actually using any fish anywhere bass pro rod at the minute bit unorthodox but I’m loving using it.
