Did the first method, thought i was supposed to just go back and that the boss fight would be gone, but it wasn't, so I thought this video was patched out or something. (I'm on 2.01.) Beat the boss, got to the next room, decided to check this video again to see what was wrong, realized I could try the 1.08 hammer roll zip, got to the same room as before, wasn't sure what I was missing, then realized that I was just supposed to go up from there. It was never shown in the video so I just didn't understand. For anyone else watching and wondering, just go up rather than back down like the video creator does.

The most insane part of this game was how enemies start taking pot shots at you even though they are not targetable 😅 I know cause i’ve done the missions with homing missle. What a Mad Lad 🤓💯

My only complaint is that the build up part of the song is too long for the climax of the song to be so short (especially when hearing on loop fighting the final boss). That part should've been a bit longer in my opinion...

I bought the game before 5 years when it came out and played it in every mode then i bought all dlcs that came out, but never played them. Now i finally play them and god it's so much fun and i love this song!

Wow! Only the most daring, most courageous, most skilled and most experienced players can manage to get through this difficulty without taking a single hit! And there was another secret that you missed: the grey box in Novice Stage 3, if you let the enemy tank go toward it, will reveal an extra life, easier to obtain on lower difficulties. Oh, and yes, I'm quite very familiar with the Novice stages 1-5, because I played Raiden II. I noticed a few key differences: for example, at 21:00, there were two large enemy boats, but are replaced by small boat turrets.

Also at Stage 6 in 36:32 the enemy that spawned at Stage 9 in 47:30 was the one that appears in Raiden II, But in this game it is instead replaced by the two turret big tanks that spawn at Stage 3 and 5 as well.

@@yurionedge2199 It's not really being anime that's the problem. It's the questionable character designs. (The game is still extremely good if you get past that though.)

@@awkwardbirb5710 the character designs are *very* questionable. Not all of them, and not to the same degree as others (Cicini in particular is the worst offender IMO). Though, that's unfortunately kind of a given with a lot of Japanese games. What saddens me is that the game isn't about the characters or the story. It's just about the challenge - about persistence, and I think to this end Rabi Ribi is beautifully executed and damn near perfect. I feel like it's okay that the plot suffers, and while I'd be happy to see more modest character designs that isn't why you play the game. The shortcomings to me are forgivable, as what the game actually sets out to do it does almost flawlessly.

The game ended up glitching out the music when I fought the Forgotten Maiden... So I only heard the first second of this looping over and over, while I fought her (thought it might have been intentional, like a sort of heartbeat sounding track (given it's in the middle of the island) but the game was actually glitching due to my headphones running out of power mid-way through the area leading up to her and after recharging them, despite sound effects working fine, the music decided to glitch out on me). That's why I'm here to listen to the theme... Even if I am years late in buying the DLC.

2:31 When I was facing the true final boss blind, I did not expect to hear the "new chapter fanfare" into the main theme I love this part sooo much. I love when games do stuff like this to final boss themes cause it makes you almost feel like nostalgic and reflect on your journey now that its the end.

Also just in case you don't know the lore, the crystals aren't a prize, they're the actual enemy, you essentially just broke their armor/weapon

@@luthiamoonlightfrqc2905 It downgrades the hammer roll to a previous version of the game, if you turn it on it lets you do some glitches like zipping into walls with certain techniques on corners or tunnels

This song feels so perfect as an end to Rabi Ribi. The bells, the choir, the violin, the piano. It goes from quiet focused, intensity, to sorrow, to grandiosity and back again. The fact that they turned the new chapter jingle into a theme song you will only hear at the very end of the game is something else too. The story ends where it all really began. The guardian before you, who is you but isn't. Just a memory of who your predecessor once was. The strongest individual who sacrificed everything for her home, and did so so selflessly that she made everyone forget who she even was. Erina the Forgotten Maiden. And all she asks for is one last battle before she fades away once more. I love this game, so very much.

The entire fight (No checkpoints) takes longer than this, so you can hear it cleary looping if you go on for that long lol

If I remember correctly, phase one took me half an hour, phase two took me 10 minutes, and phase 3 took me also half an hour

First time I did this the fight took me like 2-3 hours of attempts to learn (BEX). Cant remember how much each phase but if I had to guess: 1st phase most likely 1 hour, 2nd phase about half an hour, and 3rd phase 1 hour+ (The fact that I dont use Consumables or Buffs probably made it worse lol. But it was worth it in the end! Fun fight).
