It is important to emphasize that the pink membrane inside the small cloves of ackee must be removed.

The salt fish most likely was salty as hell

Also if you want, you can slice the roast breadfruit & fry it in oil until slightly golden brown, remove from fry pan & serve , then hope is not your mother's in-law cooking it that way. CAUSE,She is liable to get slap😁

Hullo MiQuel! I have mine on the stove right now slow cooking so looked in to see if I missed anything. It’s been a while since I’ve made this but I had a taste for it so went and bought some pork shoulder. Though I prefer to make it from a cut with skin, this didn’t have any. It’ll be delicious anyway. (it is you who taught me many years ago to put half of my seasoning at the beginning and then to add the rest later. I’ll add the rest with my butter beans when the pork is almost cooked.) Cheers!

This was amazing my brother! My family loved it and wants me to add this to the repertoire. Thank you for the fried rice suggestion, it worked really well! I can’t wait to watch more videos and try more recipes! Thank you brethren! ✊🏿

LOL I used a coffee cup to press down my bread while making a Cubano. Sometimes the ghetto way is the best, because of the effort that needs to be put into it
