President Reagan was like a hero to me. I wrote to him after he was shot and told him how glad I was to see he was recovered. Then (in '84 when EPA was slow to call me to work after hiring me), I wrote him again for assistance. I wanted to WORK! I'd excelled in TWO schools and my secretarial skills were honed. I don't know if he remembered my earlier letter, but he told me that was handled by the Chicago office. Chicago was OBVIOUSLY contacted, because I was called to work immediately! GLORY!
