Has anyone heard about the marches being planned for October? It's for both the Harris and West campaigns as two powerful black presidential candidates. Doesn't the West/Abdullah have more grassroots connections than the Harris campaign? Wouldn't it be amazing to see Cornel West speak publicly? Or to have a Harris and West debate during the media attention of such a grassroots campaign push the month before elections? Do we only march for Black death? The only mime that I think is well written is Rogue because she can use the powers better than the original owners, but for that she needs to touch them and absorb more than the power, but also all the information on how to use the power without having to train. These current mimes who already know everything without having to do anything in return are strangers

The difference didn't cause a problem when Lila first used Vanya's power, but then they made it seem like there had to be a close distance to simulate power Was it because Vanya sent the power away?

Crazy Strong was inconceivable, the limit of her power was not entirely clear (how many people could she imitate at the same time) In the final season, she fell badly

I really hate how they got rid of the "I got a rumor" part of her power. Yeah she can get straight to the point with her powers. But without it, she's just like any other telepath. More than that you don't always know what she's planning/ doing and the phrasing of the words and her intentions used to matter. Now they don't. Also it's such a power decrease when you see her slightly raising and beating up a guy in season 4, from the blowing up brains and absolute control in season 2. Where you see that the power does go to her head and why she tries to not use it in season 1. RIP "I had a rumor." You were too cool and the show runners didn't understand your true power.

The "I heard a rumor...you stopped breathing" was one of the best and most shocking scenes of this show

Back when she was a great character. Was probably the worst final season of a series I’ve ever watched. Even Game of thrones was better.

Not even full watched the series but the amount of using and abusing her power on there doesn't give her the right to treat the there like sh*t

Allison is the only legitimately bad sibling. The others are messed up but mostly have good intentions. Allison's whole story is about how selfish she is.

The laser eyes were kinda a weird power to give to Lila, because I feel like everyone’s power reflects on their own beliefs and personality (plot device). The laser eyes weren’t even used properly, except for when they got to the Town where Jennifer was.

People who turned on Allison and were so shocked about the Luther thing tend to not think about the fact that her relationship with her husband was wholly based on her glamouring him “i heard a rumour you loved me” and their whole marriage, even a child (which means they had sex), can be traced back to this. If you were a fan of her before, you know that as a character, this ability is her worst character flaw and is why she stopped using it at all in season one. She’s slipping back into bad habits in s3. And this is not a justification for either actions. The show is clear that both are wrong imo. I’m just saying that like, it didn’t suddenly “assassinate” her. If knowing that she’s done this is a dealbreaker for you, it’s fine. Fair even. Just don’t pretend that s3 is what did that for you because it was imo pretty well foreshadowed, not even foreshadowed, but TEXTUALISED, that she’s capable of doing something like that.

Lila is a better fighter than the whole family. To be equally if, not, more adept with powers than The Umbrella Academy is a bit a of stretch

i think it's still so sad how she ended up the way she did. Mainly because everyone else got decent storylines and things were changed with their characters from the comics but she was the only one to stay the same an become unlikable. :(

The way her power works, the impact it’s given, and the writer’s underuse of it always made it so interesting to me. Like you know when she’s using it it’s a big deal and it’s given a weight to it that makes the scene 10x more exciting. Season 4 they decide she has telekinesis instead…for some reason

Them going back to the 60s was so impactful, because she’s literally the only black sibling while her white siblings got to go in wherever they wanted. I wish they showed more of the segregation scenes tho, because Hispanics also faced segregation and discrimination, so they should’ve showed that with Diego as well after he left the asylum. But other than that, I also wish they covered how it affected her. How it made her feel and have her express those emotions to her siblings. Because while they got to go in those restaurants and get a meal, or go wherever, she didn’t. She couldn’t. So I wish we’d gotten to see that.

Now that the show is over I do wish we'd seen her rumour more people. There were times when she REALLY should have been using it (such as being the only person standing around while her siblings got beat up) and just *never* used it. I understand her decision to stop using it for personal gain, especially when she started rumouring her daughter, but in so many life or death situations she just kinda... sits there. Especially in the last season, after encountering Ben as the cleanse, she could have rumoured Ben into getting as far away from Jennifer as possible

Idk how people say season 3 was unbearable to watch. IMO this season was the season they actually used their power a lot.

I feel like this moment could've proven how powerful she is, like in the comics she can alter reality. When she said, "where is it" Salone should've given her the information, or the briefcase (broke atm) should've appeared or maybe any random old regular brief case appeared.

Personally I disliked Allison in all the seasons not just this one. I mean her ability is cool but idk i get she lost a lot but they all have- yk? Especially five going forward in time to seeing his family dead and then having to learn to go back and fix it over and over just to save the world and moreso his family… theyve all lost something in life but me personally allisons character just irritates me 😭 her and luther…. But still cant wait for the next season im hooked on this series (comic series tho i havent gotten to yet)
