I find it interesting that here, in the "show version" of the song, they've edited the chords to be more dissonant and unnerving starting at around 1:56 - as opposed to the original song, where all the chords at that part are very harmonious and beautiful.

This is genuinely one of my most favourite scenes and it makes me so emotional.

This is the most betrayed and furious I ever felt watching these 2 seasons. Absolutely outrageous for Vander to be used both by Singed and Viktor for their own agendas. At the end to just become a husk, a tool, I did not cry I just wished someone destroyed this crazy mf ASAP. But even after all that he gets something like a happy ending with Jayce back with him? Nah, I’m gonna need the creators to give him what he deserves, Caitlyn the dictator too has it coming in my book.

What episode is it?

I watched this whole show and while I enjoyed it, I was only really partially paying attention while also scrolling around social media. Cool music, cool fight scenes, cool this and that…but I never really felt a connection to any of the characters and their deaths…until this one. I went from not fully paying attention when the “no…you won’t” diss and by the time Vanders tears turn black, it was phone down and fully immersed with eyes welling up. I had to rewind it and watch it again and yep, absolute tear jerker moment realizing Vander has been getting shafted the entire show all the way up until his memories, the only thing we really have in life that truly belongs to us, wiped away. The part where his water color image of himself comes up, that little zoom in, that look in his eyes and then he dissolves. Good god, ya got me big time, people who wrote and directed that scene. Shooketh 😢

And still, after all of this, Jayce never stopped loving Viktor.
