Ease of use is one of my absolute favorite features about the Hear Back system. In all the years I've used it in my studio, I've never had to take more than a minute to teach a session musician how to use and understand it. It's a huge time saver, and helps to make studio sessions go very smoothly. That's priceless in my line of work. 👏👏👏

so i could RECEIVE inputs for my waves lv1 over DANTE (if i did not use waves lv1 stageboxes)? ... and the reverse ... if i used the waves lv1 stageboxes as my input sources, i could SHARE those inputs out over a DANTE network from my waves lv1? thanks!
@HearTechnologies
@HearTechnologies 27 күн бұрын
Thanks for asking! That is correct, the WSG Bridge is designed to translate Waves SoundGrid to Dante and also the reverse, from Dante to WSG, in real time. Hope that helps!

Thanks for asking! Between Dante and WSG: 0.787ms @ 44.1kHz 0.778ms @ 48.0kHz 0.580ms @ 88.2kHz 0.520ms @ 96.0kHz Of course, that's inside the Bridge itself and doesn't include any other/outside equipment's possible latency.

I like this product very much but it’s currently in my junk I think because of sweetwater. I purchased this product thinking it will work on Yamaha CL5 and while purchasing sweetwater’s salesman confirmed that but after purchasing WSG we learnt that WSG is not supported by CL5 and thats how this product is laying in my junk :(
@HearTechnologies
@HearTechnologies Ай бұрын
Hi, Ashish! So sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Bridge. It looks like the CL5 has a Dante interface, so that should connect with the Dante card on the Bridge if you want to go from Dante to Waves. This of course depends on what you want to do with it, how you want to use it. When you have time, please send us a DM and we'll be glad to see if we can help! -K/HT
@ashishmalaviya

@@HearTechnologies after checking few online forums I learnt CL5 cannot do Dante inserts so my idea of processing 64 channels failed but the main reason for my dissatisfaction is sweetwater because I believe I was misguided. Unfortunately I live in other country cannot do much about it..

Can we get a demonstration video of routing between live audio and DAW playback into the system(preferably in Reaper or Logic)
@HearTechnologies
@HearTechnologies 2 ай бұрын
The routing on a live mixing console, as well as from the soundcard used with your DAW, really depends on the I/O of the device. Some will have lots of analog outputs available, some will have a few channels of AES available, some may have Dante. It's very dependent on your hardware.

@HearTechnologies

It sounds like you're talking about using an insert on your mixer. If this is the case, you can either make your own connector that ties tip and ring together so it does not interrupt the audio path; or you can purchase an insert adapter that will do this.

How do you add different and individual instruments to the channels? Do i need to use a DAW to configure each mixer?
@HearTechnologies
@HearTechnologies 2 жыл бұрын
You'll send stems (in whatever configuration you want) from your console or your DAW to the Hear Back PRO Hub, which is the brains for the PRO system. The Hub then sends those to each PRO Mixer. Then the musician can mix their headphones/IEMs however they like. Hope this helps! -K/Hear Technologies

@@Viziionstudios The legacy system is a different animal from the PRO (pictured). Since the legacy system is discontinued we haven't created any support videos for it in a while. There, under Hear Back, you'll see hookup guides and other helpful docs.

I hate to be dense, but I don't understand where HBP gets the analog signals from. I don't have anything on my mixer that looks like the input for these 8-CH analog cards. Do I need some other piece of equipment between the two?

Thanks for asking! We sell a cable that breaks out the 25-pin end to 8 quarter-inch TRS connections. It's not proprietary - just a DA-88 cable you can get elsewhere, too. Hope that helps! -K/HT
@btnstudios1978
@btnstudios1978 2 жыл бұрын
@@HearTechnologies Thanks for the quick reply. Since the Aux outs on my board are XLR, then I'd need the DA-88 with XLR ends rather than 1/4". Then I connect up one AUX out, send 16 channels to the hub at line+mute and everyone with a HBP mixer on-stage can dial in their own mix, right? And since my mixer has 32 channels, some of the channels will be a bus, like a drum bus? Or do I need to use a snake splitter to be able to send each one of the 16 channels separately to the hub? Seeing the connectivity would help me a ton. Knowing how to dial the HBP mixer on stage is the easy part. Getting the signal to the hub is the trick.
