Discovered this song in 2024, and after listening to several of their other songs over the last couple months, I highly suspect TTRRUUCES will be one of my favorite musicians in no time. I think the rhythm for "the bad kids, the very bad kids" could be from from Blur's Country House, where a man is described taking "all kinds of pills for all manner of ills". The "crazy diamond" in the bridge could be a reference to Syd Barrett from the Pink Floyd, who "reached for the secret too soon", and succumbed fairly early in life to drug-induced madness. The white rabbit in the video might be a reference to the Jefferson Airplane song White Rabbit which is about, once again, a variety of pharmacological agents. Some other parts sound familiar and could be more references, maybe they'll come to me....
