Wow for some reason whenever I listen through the album (which is a lot) I seem to not notice this one. But I did today and now I'm giving it the attention it deserves.

Seeing this live was truly wonderful! The energy was electrifying. Getting to see two great drummers go all out and bounce off of each other is not something you usually experience. You can see glimpses of the audience where everyone's open-mouthed haha. And someone else commented this on IG, but Baard kept joking in VIP a couple hours before about needing to learn it lol

Frank, who wrote the song might give you a slightly different answer, but I’ll try to clarify a little from my perspective. The way I think about it is, that it isn’t a drum battle for supremacy or a duet (that word really doesn’t capture it), but more like Baard and I are each actors in a fight scene with our drum parts striking, blocking, and dodging in and out of each other. One of the big inspirations for the song was a painting called Fight with Cudgels (or “Duel” with Cudgels) that shows two cowherds swinging at each other while they seem to be sinking in quicksand. So, I’d say it’s less of a drum battle-and more of an actual fight with drums 🥊 🥁
