It was was with HUGE pleasure that I discovered this band playing in Ringwood, Hampshire, which was, fortuitously, only a handful of miles away! I fell in love with the band and their music. They were all SOOOO talented. I love a whole range of musical forms but was VERY privileged to have enjoyed their skills and voices a number of times. The bass player is also a very accomplished artist as well as being a great harmoniser. I was gutted when they disbanded after a few years; but most grateful for having enjoyed their music many times. BRILLIANT!! NoAxe

I was born in 1949. I listened to many country greats back in the day. Tom T. Hall was right up there with the best. His two best songs are 'The Day Clanton Delaney Died' and 'Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine'. It's a toss up on which one of those is #1.

Thought I'd look these two up as they're doing a gig in Otley next month.. will probably take my wife to that.

One of the great bluegrass groups that became so popular in the 60s, when I was up to my heart in rock and roll....Thank God, my mom had some cousins in Nashville, the Wilburn Bros., who produced a nationally syndicated show on Saturdays and this brought me listing to other country and blue grass shows, such as Porter Wagoner, Flat and Scruggs, who had Jim and Jesse on their shows quite often. I still love to hear these old time great performers, who could sing and pick with the angels.

It's a standard. There's a lot of versions out there. But honestly you do it better than anyone! Lucky to have caught you a couple of times now. Beautiful harmonies and a really authentic feel to the vibrant string playing.
