You’ve never seen the hospital, farmers market on the way to the grocery store, city park, circle T arena, downtown, courthouse, Wenzel’s Lonestar Meat or city lake? I’d hardly call all of those places the “rich side of town”. I’d say that those are the most common places of town that people enjoy.

There is a little one lane paved road that switchbacks down the mountain and then goes through a tunnel to the site.

It’s a great place to spend time. Great family owned meat market/eatery options. A great park with walking trail and some nice event establishments that have live music regularly!

The west side of town makes a brief appearance in the opening shot. Those that are familiar with the Sierra Blanca mountains recognize this easily. As far as the title goes, it’s an accurate description of the video. Sorry if you misinterpreted!

@@HeritageAndPine You're a bit of a know it all aren't you. Most folks go to Ruidoso to gamble. Yes in winter they go to ski. I don't know anyone who goes there to see the mountains which are mostly hills and not mountains. I live only a few miles from Ruidoso.

John Sipma there is parking off of the main road you drive in on above the cliff the church is on and then you can either hike down a trail/staircase to it or you can pay and ride a short bus ride down to the site.
