QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Would you be so passionate about your God if there was no promise of a glorious life after death? Would you fear him if there was no threat of an eternity of pain and torment? What if your God just delivered a message of peace and wisdom and his philosophy on death was eternal peace with no afterlife? Would you remain faithful to him or would you seek another God who promised bliss or retribution after your demise? Would you still worship a God who didn't claim the ability to heal all your ills and rescue you from the vagaries and pitfalls of life? If you decide to discard the old God of the carrot and stick and begin to appreciate the philosophy and wisdom of a new entity who doesn't promise anything but internal peace and understanding then Congratulations, you are on your way to becoming a Buddhist and your new life will be better. The higher the concentration you have the more clearly youll see reality and the more stable youll be. Thats why the buddha taught the Jhanas were key before vipassana. The concentration creates a gap between you, the real spirit/awareness/bliss and the egoic you that gets angry. So you come out of these states into a more natural meditative state and therefore start observing and responding to life much more than reacting. Meaning you are much less likely to have unconscious spurts of anger that you identify as being, to even have to recover from breifly.

Very true analysis. If one can clean their mind with this simple but powerful message, he knows there is nothing permanent even for a moment. Moment by moment living will become a practice as contemplation. It is personal experience but living life without fear or sorrow.

The main reason we can't remember our past lives. Because once that past lifetime is over. The personality that you was becomes erased from your soul. Once you're reborn or reincarnated Because the soul and spirit once being reborn in choosing a newborn body from infancy will have to learn something new in that next life. Or something different. Different things from what was happened in that previous life. Except for karma which is a manifested actions from those experiences and scenarios from your previous existence(s)!

Angulimala, Suneetha and many others achieved enlightenment without any practice of meditation. Doesn’t these incidents pose a question to the importance of meditation. Meditation is important to capture incoming sensory inputs and thoughts to process them in a control manner.

You follow buddha a man... I follow my own spirit, a god. That is the difference. You are men of scriptures i am a man of the spirit. And you follow a master called buddha. Therefore you are not enlightened just delusional and misguided men appearing as a false light in this world ruled by darkness.

The Middle PATH means the path that we should follow to get rid of suffering and it is The Noble Eightfold Path.
